Hmm, I haven’t decided what I’m wearing yet.
Probably my gray pinstripe slacks, pumps, and some sort of sweater.
They keep it unreasonably cold in my office. I also have long meetings tomorrow in a conference room that is known for it’s arctic temperatures.
rigs, I’m with you. If you don’t want to be monogamous, don’t pretend to be up front. Just don’t be. That way I know to stay away from you. (I mean officially monogamously married and gettin’ some on the side. That shit ain’t right. Any other arrangements are fine by me if everybody’s happy with it.)
Can I take a sledgehammer to my phone at work? The stupid gets to me some days. It would be so cathartic.
I used to be you. Sometimes I still am. Eventually, if you really want to, you can develop better habits. I still procrastinate on bunches of things, but not as badly as before. And I can work on my own on all kinds of things without sabotaging myself.
I have no idea what I’m wearing tomorrow. But it’ll be something warm as well. My office is chilly. I have a blankie and slippers. Seriously.
Valentine lists are done. i feel so accomplished!

Ok, it’s officially tomorrow here now, actually. So do you want to know what I’m wearing still?
Well, come to think of it. Every workday’s outfit is pretty much the same. Tie dye t-shirt with business logo on it and blue jeans. Comfy and practical. Ho-hum.
And, so, I was just going to go to bed but now the satellite dish is rebooting or something so I have to wait for it to finish.
Had a mercifully short Board meeting, watched Doctor Who on instant Netflix.

Oh, and I needed to pick a webpage to perform two different assignments on it, and the teachers have accepted my first pick. Yay! I get to translate a document about music and several small ones with words you won’t find in the pocket versions of the dictionary.

I had a steaming hot shower last night when I got home as the water was back on AND I had another one this morning. Because I could. Squeaky clean I am. 
Public transport was back to as normal as it gets so I got to work in a reasonable time frame and did not maim anyone on the way.
I had 2 Pain au Chocolate for breakfast fresh and warm from the oven at the bakery on the way to work.
Today’s work outfit is smart black boot flare trousers, my lovely balck wedge boots my sister got me for Christmas, a black deep v-neck sweater with a steely gray coloured tank underneath. It is freezing in our little corner of hell so I am also wrapped up in a gray pashmina thingy with sparkly bits on it.
Coffee is kicking in…day 2 of no transfer letter is starting…
On the extra-marital affair thing - he is a snake and leading the young lady on. It is wrong - he is still married and he knows it is wrong. The friends need to gently point it out it is wrong to the friend embroiled in it. She will be upset but she is to far in the thick it to realise.

I’m wearin’ a black and tan plaid shirt (it looks better than it sounds, really), tan pants and black shoes to work today. My socks are also black. My tshirt is white and my drawers are blue/white/tanned vertical stripes. What? Everybody else is sharin’ their outfits!

Thanks for your input on the friend situation - between us we’re going to have to find a way to tell her that we don’t really want to have anything to do with the guy which isn’t going to be easy but I’m hoping that eventually common sense will prevail and she’ll understand what’s behind it all.
Personally I believe that cheating is wrong, whichever way you want to dress it up. If you’re married then you have vowed to be faithful to that one person and if you can’t do that any more, it’s up to you to get out of that situation. But thats’ just me, other people see it differently and that’s their business.
In other news, it’s Wednesday and that means beerverages tonight. It also means that I have learned my lesson after last week and that I will be going straight to bed after the pub and getting a bit more sleep than last week!
Two-hour delay this morning! Actually, they said 2-hr delay, 9:00 opening. Well, I start at 6:30, so I’m guessing that means I need to get there by 8:30 which is fine.
We got about 1½" overnight, which isn’t bad at all. But the biggie is expected come Friday. Apparently there’s a mess of wet in Texas that’s going to move across the south of the country, whomp swampy, then turn to the north and dump more white crap in my neighborhood. I most certainly am not amused. I was going to take the dogs to the groomer this weekend, but it ain’t happening in snow. That’s just stupid. Maybe next week?
This late start really isn’t a good thing for me - I’ve got a lot of work to get done by Friday, so I’ll probably end up staying late today. Especially if we may be sent home early Friday. Oh yeah, and we might get another system next Tuesday. I don’t miss FL yet, but it might get that bad…
On the other hand, ummmmm, I still live indoors and have groceries in the pantry, so there’s that. As for today’s wardrobe: black jeans, some sort of top with a coordinated cardigan, black sneaks, white unders, black socks. Not sure what color hair thingie I’ll use - black, probably… I’m not particularly morose with all the black - it’s just the next in the rotation. Rather than decide what to wear, I base my choices on the next pair of jeans in line. Which is black today. I share because I care.

I have relatives who also live in Raleigh. One of my cousins slipped on the ice and broke her ankle and tore two tendons. Fortunately, she’s still young (in her 20s) but this is still a pretty crappy thing to have happen.
I’m just here this morning. A regular client of mine has asked me to start delivering lunches to some very remote places and today is the first one. It’s a town on the Lincoln Highway (pretty much the reason that I said yes) but still, I’m a little concerned about getting there in a timely manner in this weather. It’s about a 75 mile drive. :eek:

Caffeinating and then will get back into bed. We got 3-4 inches here, govt. is open on time but with “liberal leave” policy in effect - IOW, you can take leave without previously requesting it. It’s a bit too much for me to venture out with the rollator. I will go in tomorrow and Friday - for at least part of the day on Friday, that is. I really would prefer, if we must have these snow storms, that they be during the week! LOL I mean come on, I got errands to run on the weekends, and I can’t do em when the snow is piling up outside!!!

It’s nice here today-it’s already 25 with a high of 32 expected. I just don’t want to go to work today is all. My boss doesn’t want to hire a sub librarian until May, so any days off I have until then will just result in extra work for me when I get back. <need dismayed smiley here> Guess I’m in it until May. (actually, I’m glad I have a job, but…)
