Worked, walked the dogs, eating. Today I’m wearing blue striped shirt, khakis, and a blue sweater. Somebody started chewing a hole in the apartment wall today.

I got a call yesterday from the Diabetes clinic. They are going to implant some sort of sensor in (on?) my belly on Monday. It will take my blood glucose level every 5 minutes for 4 days. I get it out on Thursday. I’m taking Monday off. 
Today absolutely sucked!!! Our resident drama queen lost it with me, and I lost it with him, and then at 3:00 we had a meeting wherein he spouted off yet again - which dragged the meeting out past quitting time. Asshole.
One more day. And I’m off Monday! 'Cept for that little thang, it should be ok. We’re getting some sun for a change starting tomorrow and through the weekend.

I managed to survive another day at work. I stayed a little late, but was starting to make stupid mistakes and having to back track, so I knew it was time to go home.
Dinner is in the oven and on top of the stovetop. Chicken boobies salted and peppered, brushed with a mixture of mayo and dijon mustard, rolled in cornflake crumbs that were seasoned with a little parmesan cheese, parsley, and grated lemon rind.
We’re having herb and butter rice a roni to go with it. Screw it, I’m tired and lazy today.
Very bad migraine. And the only medicine in TVLand is Aleve which I am no longer allowed to take. I took one, though and am hoping that it helps. This isn’t my usual headache, it’s worse. And laying down and trying to close my eyes makes it worse.

Sunny and oddly warm here in StupidParis…but I still have hot water so things are OK. My motivation for work stopped as soon as we went for breakfast (company supplies free snacks on a Friday). I am determined to leave at a reasonable hour this evening as I haven’t ben home before 9PM every night this week.
I’m feeling much better this morning.
Interesting bit of trivia: Aleve can raise your Lithium level by 40%. Fortunately (I suppose) I had forgotten all of my medicine at home last night and I didn’t take any Lithium, so taking Aleve wasn’t really a risk.
Evening all. I am okay - recuperating quite nicely and off the pain meds now (half a bottle of chardonnay this evening doesn’t count as medicating , does it?). Results are due next Wednesday and if they are clear then I will be going home on Thursday evening.

I got here at 5:00 am so I could get all the crap done that I didn’t get done yesterday due to drama queen’s BS. It’s so quiet! And traffic was non-existent. Maybe I should get my flex hours switched from 6:30-4:30 to 5-3. Works for me! 'Cept I’m sleepy.

OK. All I have to say is:
I don’t care how much money you make or how prestigious your job is. You don’t have to solve all my problems or fix every hurt. The only thing I have ever wanted is someone to love me that is gentle and kind. That is truly all I want out of this life.

TheSnow is apparently barreling down the pike even now: many places have closed up for the day or will close at noon or early. I’ve decided it’s just not worth it to go in and come back for four hours, especially given that public transit is notoriously bad at early dismissals (when they’re not in rush hour mode …). Yes, the federal govt. is on liberal, unscheduled leave but is also closing 4 hours early.
When I went to fix coffee this morning, I discovered that I was on the last can of milk for the coffee :eek: ZOMG! Must send my daughter out this morning to get canned milk for my coffee! LOL I am hoping that I won’t be snowed in all weekend, but it is starting to look that way. At least I am prepared … well, almost prepared.

There was a fahr in Crabwell Corners last night. I didn’t go, but I wound up doing an ambulance call because the scheduled crew was there. I didn’t get to bed until pat midnight, and my tailfeathers are a draggin’ this morning.
Other than that, I gots nuthin.
Oh, Snowpocalypse Part Deux will miss us, with just rain today and maybe some recoil snow tomorrow.
