I have lots of photos on my irk 'puter as rotating wallpaper. I has taken them all & have all of them on my home 'puter but they are all in different directories based on event & then date. I don’t have the pics on my irk 'puter in one directory. The irk 'puter is locked down such that you can copy info to it from a thumbie drive but not take any data off of it onto a thumbie drive. I spent a part of the day uploading all of my photos to Dropbox so that I could download them to a thumb drive on my computer. That way when I do get a new irk 'puter I can just plug my thumb drive into it & presto all my pics are in one place.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and dark (TWPTB say clear) with a predicted high of 71 with rain comin’ in this afternoon and evenin’. Today I shall clean the bathrooms and kitchen and do laundry as well. Rah. We shall sup upon roast turkey breast, green beans, carrots, cornbread dressin’ with gravy (I saved the giblets from a chikin I shall cook up and turn into chikin sallit for sammiches for tomorrow night), and of course cranberry sauce. The turkey shall slow roast in one of the cooker/oven thingies. The dressin’, btw, is some I had made up and frozen. I shall also make the chikin sallit today. Lots of cook stuff to happen. All that should be enough to keep me off the streets and outta trouble for the day.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day.

Doesn’t it figure that just as we’re about to head out the door, Roxy fills her diaper… sheesh! So I was running late this morning. Luckily, tomorrow, I’m off. With luck, I’ll get a little sleep, since last night sucked so mightily. Lots of disturbing dreams that I didn’t remember, but I kept waking very upset.

It is bright and sunny outside, cold though with a high of 50 predicted.
Going to the park today, somebody is going crazy with pent up energy. We went yesterday even though it was raining, but it was the cold that got to me, not the rain.
My son saw the white tailed cat curled up with Adam on my chair yesterday, so I think the white tail is going to be sticking around. I would like to catch it and take it to the vet, but it runs when it sees us.

My PayPal account is working, but I only use it to collect pay from a company that I (very rarely) test video games for. One day I’ll transfer the pay to my checking account. I haven’t bought anything off of E-Bay in years, Amazon is easier and more reliable.

In addition to going to the park, I’ll be cleaning Ripple’s ears, and trimming his toenails, paying some bills, washing a load of laundry, and vacuuming.
I’ve got all my wild flower seeds for this year, it’s too soon to spread them, but the soil can be prepped. That will probably be tomorrow while the brat is in daycare.
I need to get my taxes done, but I have that scheduled for the weekend.
So far the plumbing has been behaving. I’ve been flushing the enzyme stuff everyday and no more sewage in the basement. I never did call the plumber, the thought of going through all that bullshit again was too much.
I put a splash guard under the downspout out front and the basement didn’t flood during yesterday’s rain. I hope that is all I have to do.
It’s just been loads of fun around here :rolleyes:
There is still much that needs doing, but I have neither the time nor the money to get it all done.
Bumba, I don’t have bank account information linked to my paypal. I have my debit card and a credit card, so maybe that’s enough for them. Then again, I haven’t tried using it in a few months, so maybe something changed recently.
Irking again… aren’t I always, it seems? Romeo has today off since he worked Sunday. He should be getting some laundry put away and picking up the new shower surround with his dad and Romeo Jr. today. It’s boys time. He’ll be making Rachels for dinner tonight. He was in the mood for Ruebens, but the kids aren’t corned beef fans, so we’re doing Rachels. They like turkey.
It’s going to get pretty nice here today. High of 50 and sunny. I’m going to go out for lunch today, just to get out of the office and enjoy some spring.
The Littlest Nephew had surgery yesterday; the kind of thing which would have meant a hospital stay and weeks of recovery when I was his age, but which with modern techniques had him back home within the day. He had some problem with his ears that led to getting a lot of infections.
Last year I bought him a toy at the Lyon Christmas market from a local artisan. Both The Littlest Nephew and his mother like it so much she asked me for additional copies; I was able to find it from a reseller in a big box vendor’s site. Wish I’d been able to find it from the original guy, it’s a really nice little puzzle.
My laptop appears t have died. Waiting for its replacement. If my coworkers thought the old one was too fancy wait until they see the new one, it’s officially a gaming rig

Was busy yesterday with soccer stuff and way to many e-mails, then coached to 6:30pm with the 6-year olds and went out to the local diner where I ate way to many calories, so slept well past 8am today. More soccer but less hectic day, I think. Might do some spring cleaning, as it is supposed to get to 70F again.

If you’re only paying, you can link a bank acct or credit card; if you want to receive (& get your hands on the , then you *do* need to have a bank acct linked); however, if you receive & keep it in your PayPal acct to then make purchases, & not want sawbucks in your hand you don’t need to provide them with a bank acct either.
