I really wish work had someplace I could go take a nap. I didn’t get to sleep until at least midnight last night - I went to bed when I was supposed to and I thought I would drift right off, but I ended up taking a Benadryl to put me under around 11:30. And so I woke up all groggy and dead.

I got the best birthday present today at the OB, he says my contractions are nothing to be worried about, everything looks great physically and all my labs were perfect today. The only thing is Baby Apes is measuring a couple of weeks bigger than she should be (she is estimated to be about 3.5 lbs at 29 weeks :eek:), so she may just be a big baby who will come early. She should do great no matter when she comes!

Got in to work today, and it’s all tickets, all day. We were supposed to move someone, but her desk attacked her, so that’s delayed. My whiny baby guy who couldn’t get a powerstrip of his own and wouldn’t help me move his desk actually did both, so I got to close his ticket. But now I get to bring him another monitor.
Our offshore contractors are so far short on their service level agreements, they’re trying to manufacture IT tickets to get them off the hook. It is so not working, but it is leaving us with a lot of work, because we have to investigate each reported issue before we can close the ticket out.
What else? Weather in north Texas is changeable but has gone back to blue skies and friendly temperatures. We didn’t quite make 80 degrees, but I really, really want to spend some time outdoors.
Howdy from da cave. Irk is over and soon grillin’ and chillin’ will commence. Well, preparations for it anyways as I shall head over to the church house shortly to do stuff. The good thing about that is, one can enjoy a beerverage whilst preppin’.

We made our grocery stop and now we’re home. I need to do something about making supper, but I’m not too motivated. Much knitting will ensue tonight. And with luck, the rain will end tomorrow…
Darn it about to have to kick on the AC 83f/23c in the house. It usually waits another month before the ugly heat kicks in. Measured the pavement with my scanning thermometer 97f/36c. We are also just about at drought conditions. Shite, it is not even spring yet.
I am going to ride my bicycle to the bar and call this day done

Kind of having a blurfy day here. I subbed today and it was mostly boring. Now I’m just trying to get some homework done that’s due tomorrow. But I’m kinda concerned right now about Dave’s son because he posted on fb this morning that his mom had to be taken to the hospital. I sent him a message to let him know I was thinking about him and would be happy to help but he hasn’t posted anything since midmorning about how she’s doing. This kid does not need another bad thing happening to his family. 
Suppah was good - steamed shrimp and lots o’veggies. Time to knit.
It would also be a good time for the Chocolate Fairy to appear. <hint hint>
Do we have a theme for this week yet other than “Happy Birthday”?

Dreamt last night that my kitchen was getting overrun by ants and got up to find out that it wasn’t. Since I live life in the fast lane, I proceeded to head off to irk without washing all the dishes. Take that, superstition!
I always called her Blue Girl Group.
