Howdy y’all! All deheathenated, had N.O.L., a nap, and have done two loads of laundry. All in all not a bad day. The rain cleared out and it’s all nice and sunny out.
MOOOOOOM since you are not havin’ to irk tomorrow you can start us off! 
If no one else wants to, I’m sure I can come up with something. I know I was going to start things off last week with a brilliant idea, but for the life of me, I can’t recall what it was…
Daughter and Cozmo have left. I expect Higgs to crash shortly - the two dogs ran around and around and around, both in the house and in the yard. She’s got to be exhausted. We found out that our daughter is going to Orlando whether she has a job lined up or not. And she’s taking her no-load bf with her. Needless to say, we’re thrilled. :rolleyes: Not a lot we can do - she’s 27. She used to be a lot smarter.
All the rain we were promised hasn’t materialized yet. Weather is supposed to be icky thru Tuesday - we shall see.
Apartment is clean, now I’m at the laudromat.
Chili and rice pudding are on the stove. Dinner tonight will be num!

Just went out to a local Circus ‘Scratch Night’- basically, a place for people to show off new stuff to an audience. Some of my friends were performing, and everyone was very good and generally pretty weird and experimental.
They also had the heating turned waay up, which is nice, 'cos it’s %^*ing freezing tonight
Anyway, I think I’m going to spend the rest of the evening in, with David Attenborough.
3 more hours of irk to get the top bonus.

Sah-kid is loving Gino’s, not only do they make real milkshakes but they just added a bunch of new flavors.
Last week he got banana split, today he got cherry cheesecake.

So you all might remember I told you a few hours ago my gig canceled. Got the call “Capt come save us” about an hour after doors, save it I did. Band happy, client happy, venue happy and people who pay me know not to go cheap by doing it themselves. I walked into a clusterf**k, why in the world would you do something that stupid, why, why, why? Never ceases to amaze me, all I did for an hour is figure out what broken stuff was causing problems. Whenever I work for these guys I hand the boss a pile of stuff I know is broken and tell him “just throw it away, you don’t have anyone who can fix this”. He actually did this time. Still in the power cable box are the IEC cables with European style plugs for the newish powered speakers :rolleyes:, I separated them all out weeks ago, handed them to the boss and said “either throw these away or put North American ends on these”. Are you an effing moron? The answer in this case is a resounding yes, methinks.

OTOH the bbq was awesome, it was a bbq festival and almost every joint in town had a tent and it was free for me anyway.
