Well, Somebody's Gotta Do The MMP

Blurf.

I’m trying to get caught up on stuff at work. I’m just really sleepy lately (well, because I keep staying up too late).

I really need to start updating my website again. I have no backlog of posts anymore and I just haven’t felt like doing any of the stuff that lets me build that. And I need to make at least two logos for different sections. I’m a bad blogger. I blame the time change.

You can take pills for that.

but a big ol’ mug o’ coffee works better

So Spidey does not want to bring me dinner. Well, fine! Be that way! :stuck_out_tongue:

N.O.L. has been consumed. Sallit with some chopped up steak and some Eyetalian dressin’. 'Twas good. Now if only TPTB would go away.

The Vast Conspiracy To Piss Me [Bobbio] Off

It had to happen sooner or later. We had a billing screwup. And what a big one it is.

The insurance company sent me an explanation of benefits saying that they were not paying nearly $38,000 to the hospital because it was not “precertified” (whatever that means). They did pay for the PET scan, the central line installation and the doctors. They seemed to be having a snit with the actual treatments. After an hour on the phone with various blue minions, I get connected with one who’s actually making good use of oxygen. Seems the hospital has my name cross-linked to DH’s birthday, effectively creating a “Tuvix” that the insurance company doesn’t recognize.

So, I call the hospital. A seemingly nice person there sees the goof and promises to fix it. We shall see…

Nah it’s not that; I’m being considerate as I don’t believe you can afford the delivery charge (If you can afford it, that means your three nephews are named Huey, Dewey, & Louie! :D)

I also noticed you’re close to a big post .

Wow I am close to a big post. I probably would have never noticed it.

In bigger news, TPTB has left the buildin’! YAAAAAAAAY!!!

Oh and taco soup for dindin. I pulled it outta da freezer this mornin’.

I see glimpses of blue sky outside, but also sideways-blowing snow flurries. Should be an interesting ride home.

Good luck with the billing issues, gotti.

Got my new prescription card in the mail last night, so I stopped off at the pharmacy to pick up refills for my insulin on account of I’m almost out, and THANK GOD I seem to be stuck with another heartless, incoherent online mail-order prescription refill service that doesn’t want me to be going to an actual pharmacy to buy actual medicine, so they’re going to have to call around and get back to me once they find out whether or not it’s okay for me to not die. Really dodged a bullet with that one.

Home. We left work an hour early so **FCD **could get his bike to the dealer for a brake job. He grabbed his bike, I grabbed the dog, and we drove to beautiful downtown Hughesville to the Harley dealership. I walked the dog around the grounds while business was attended to. Higgs doesn’t like the car - she was pulling away when I was trying to get her back in. Idiot dog…

I’ve got sketty sauce thawing in the microwave, so supper will be easy.

Our heating oil tank was topped off today - 25 gallons. The pellet stove has saved us a bunch! The house has been lots warmer than it would have been and it’s cost less. Huzzah!

That’s all I’ve got for now. Sorry there’s nothing exciting to share.

I do take pills for that. The blurf is more powerful than the pills.

But Spidey Swampy always has beer, and haven’t you been reading his posts? He’s a good cook who likes to cook.
We bring the appetizers and we’ll probably get a good meal out of it.

You gotta keep up with the plan.

My internet stopped working but now it is again.

Haven’t read, rosie’s sig to all.

Bad internet! Send it to bed without supper Spaz.

Dindin is et and all is well. I’s all tahrd and sleepified but it’s waaaaaaaay early for sleepy time.

Sketties were yum. Time to knit.

:heart::heart:MWAH!!:heart::heart:***

Are you me? I just had sketties for dinner and now I’m granny squarin’.

Well all in all a good day

I hope all my Mumpers had a good one as well excepting those who need hugs

{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}

I am rather chipper as I have band practice tonight and I finally got comfortable with two of the tough songs, “Funky Miracle” by the Meters and “Sissy Walk” by Eddie Bo

Gotta go warm up

Have a good night

Jim

Leftover corned beef and no knitting here.
