Biking this morning, even though it’s supposed to be windy this afternoon, and I really don’t care for riding in gusty wind.
One of my tasks this week is to get my desk and work table cleared so that when I’m out next week, the maintenance guys can come in and install some additional electrical outlets so I can get rid of the mess of power strips I currently have.
How can you have deviled eggs that don’t contain mustard and vinegar?!?? If they aren’t “deviled” with something sharp-tasting or spicy, they’re just stuffed eggs!

Up early this morning to go to the doctors- just generally not been feeling well lately, dunno why, and it’s been getting on my nerves. Got a vampire appointment in a few weeks. Joy.
Still clearing out junk, though it’s now progressed to sticking stuff on freecycle- I just hope I get people with a degree of common decency responding this time- it’s a great idea, but it does seem to attract the flakes… Anyone want an adult size hula hoop before I stick them up? I have about 6 spares
Supposed to be going to one 'o them places where you dress up in silly plastic armour and shoot each other with ‘lasers’ tonight, with a bunch of people from the circus club. Not been to one of them since my 12th birthday. Should be entertainingly silly
By the way, I don’t think I’ve ever had devilled aigs, of any colour. Maybe I should try makin’ em.
I now have a hankerin’ for deviled eggs and don’t have any remedy any time soon. Pout I think FCM needs to make a 4hr delivery trip to Chesapeake so I can “officially” try some for the good of the MMP of course. I will have chocolate something waiting. Actually, there is a whole chocolate festivalthat we are going to this weekend so maybe it will be gourmet and all.
TVCTPMO can bite my hairy ass. It started with the sudden death of VWife’s PC. I dropped $$$ to get a new processor because I thought the old one fried, but the replacement doesn’t work any better. I may have to get a new motherboard, which is suspect #2.
On top of all that, I got into the Family Truckster to head to irk, and it drove funny and made strange rumbling noises. Flat tire. Had to change that which took an hour all told. It was cold and wet for an extra level of suckitude. I found a big honking screw through the tread as the culprit. If I’m lucky, I can get the tire plugged.

Lunch time! I need a break! I sent off an email this morning listing all the drawings I’ve got waiting to be checked on one project, and it was followed by an email by **FCD **about other stuff that needs to be checked so we can finish our drafting assignments. I’m too efficient for them!
Furlough rumors are starting to sneak in. **FCD **suggested we volunteer to take 2 days a week off. Works for me - especially with spring theoretically about to hit. I could get a lot of yard work done with 4-day weekends. woohoo! I’m not too keen on the lost income, but it’s only money, right? :eek:
Chinese pizza is an appitzer. It’s flat fried dough w/ scallions & a soy based dipping sauce. It’s nummy. Now I’s hongry for some. ** Sari & Swampy**, you should treat since it was your idea that made me hongry!
I’m wrestling with one of those irk assignments that just got dropped in my lap and makes me want to say, “As flattered as I am by your confidence in my ability to tackle this, I am flying totally blind as I have never done one of these before and have no idea what you want!”
If I pick one up, it’ll be devoured before I get to the state line. I could get a bunch, but I don’t know how well it reheats. Can you really not get them at your local Chinese joint? Sometimes they’re called Scallion pancakes instead.
Can’t we go to Mooommmm’s or Bobbio’s or Tugig’s instead? It’s a much shorter drive.
