Well that's a stupid place for a zit

Yes, we like our zit stories, don’t we?

I really liked ratty’s post. heh

It’s a goner.

Finally popped the ferschlugginah thing this morning after my shower. I’d had enough of walking with a damned limp, trying to avoid my underwear rubbing against it. Got a needle, sterilized it with a match, clened the area with some rubbing alcohol ( - did THAT feel not-so-good!!), got a mirror and did some home surgery. A small poke, a small squeeze, a bigger squeeze, and VOILA!!!

Yuck.

About a quarter-teaspoon of blood, a lot of clear fluid, and a solid white inner core about the size of a Hostess Ho-Ho. Oh yeah, this one was definitely a keeper. Not one of the squishy cores that would break up between your fingernails; this one was completely solid. No ingrown hair, though. Really wonder what caused it, but I shall no longer dwell on this one. The remains have been given a proper ‘burial at sea’.

I have the oddest sense of accomplishment right now. I feel like I could conquer the world.

sigh I should have known what I was starting. I didn’t even think about it before I posted it though. If a TMI warning needs to be added to the title, please go ahead.

About four months ago I had a three-headed monster zit on the same “flat inner shelf” of my ear. Never had a zit there before; at first I was completely baffled as to what it was.

What I want to know is, why are they so damn painful? It’s like a large, hot needle being pressed into your ear if you even touch 'em!

It hurt so bad my eyes watered if I even touched it, so I left it alone for about three days, out of self-preservation…

And then, at work, I went into the restroom and looked at it…couldn’t resist…ran my finger over it, gently, gently…

And the Three Headed Monster Zit just exploded. My whole ear felt cool and moist from the shrapnel; barely touched it again and yet more oozing. Took several handtowels to completely mop up the disaster area. It was the most revolting, and yet most satisfying event in recent memory.

Good times, good times.

I would say the mere presence of the word ‘zit’ in the title automatically conveys a ‘TMI’ warning, unless it’s about the comic strip
