We're late, we're late! A Monday Afternoon MMP

Surprise bambilance shift tonight. I don’ need no steeeenking sleep…

I must away to the store and procure foodstuffs. It’s only gonna get more crowded and nuts if I wait until tomorrow.
Every tried explaining to Hindu young man why it’s called Good Friday even if Jesus died on that day? It made for an interesting discussion. I even cited The Master!

I love it!!!
ROSIE I’m almost sorry April Fools Day ended ------ all the cat pictures that popped up here and there across the Dope were great!
Well, time to rest up and figure out ways to give away more furniture tomorrow. Sheeesh - when you are trying to hide that a house is actually empty of people, even Freecycle involves planning like the Normandy Invasion.

Hi everyone. Back from attending church with Local Best Friend and her squirmy, but extremely quiet, 2 1/2 year old. Once we made it back to the car, she had a giggle attack and then sang loudly with the music (hearing a little kid trying to sing along with Polly Wolly Doodle is really entertaining).

Interesting quotes, rosie.

Glad you get to see your sister, Taters.

I’m not buying food till tomorrow (I’m a rebel!)

I was amused by the kitties yesterday and also by ATMB where there were very close to 13 threads about the same thing. Made me smile.

Glad you’re getting more sleep, LiLi.

::waves at tarra::

Now it’s off to bed, in the hopes of actually getting lots of sleep.

Hugs.

And, almost forgot, continuing with the Peeps theme: Peepza.

Also, a public service announcement: if you or someone you know lost the “Charter” in your title, there’s a limited time offer. See the announcement posted everywhere. It’ll cost ya, but, still…

Now I’ll go to bed. Really. Maybe.

More hugs.

:dubious:…

…

ew.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN It’s my Firday! YAY!!!

Last night’s Choral Evensong was very nice. ‘Twas a different kind of Good Friday service. The traditional service was at noon. YP can actually sing. As in good. Plus the choir performed an amazing anthem. I was feelin’ all sleepified and really considered not even goin’ but I’m glad I did.

gt Peepza may well be the grossest food substance I have ever seen.

Rumbly tummy demands to be fed. Also need more caffiene before irk purtification begins.

Tonight is The Vigil of Easter beginning at sundown, around eight p.m. Since we are released from our Lenten obligations afterwards, we get champagne even!

Happy (or Holy for some of us) Saturday Y’all!

I am up and decaffeinating. Grocery shopping yesterday was it’s own private circle of Hell, but it was made slightly better by the enourmous and yummy roast chicken lunch in the supermarket’s cafe. After that, we went to a couple of sports stores so 'im indoors could look at wrist and ankle weights, then went home for a rest. As it was unexpectedly sunny, we then went round to the park to feed the geese, swans and the puddleduck, who all seemed very pleased to see us.

Today we are off to do errands in town and tonight we’re going out for a curry at our favourite restaurant. I’m looking forward to it already!

Irk today, hockey tonight.

rosie’s sig to all.

My ears are full and won’t pop. Erg.

Good morning all! I’m up and caffeinated, mostly that is.

BooFae, I’m glad that you had a nice lunch even if grocery shopping was teh Hell. I commisserate with you on that, btw.

Sounds like St. Pat’s had a nice Good Friday service, Swampy; glad that you did go.

I was commisserating with a friend and co-worker yesterday about how little my brain is retaining these days, and they begrudgingly admitted to the same! At least I’m not the only one, I guess. LOL

Happy Saturday–Happy Easter–Happy Passover, your selection. Just enjoy.

Yeah, that was pretty much my take on it. But I felt obligated to share.

Sorry about your ears, Soapy. Good popping vibes heading your way.

Sounds like a nice service, swampy.

I’m up and starting to clean house. Woo hoo. Trying to de-allergenize the place as much as possible without annoying my allergies. (Dust masks are our friends.) I’m hoping to take up the carpet this spring. I’m sure it’s holding in lots and lots of stuff that’s bad for me.

Back later.

And, because it’s apparently also my week for P.S. posts: Spaz posted on fb yesterday that she’s been MIA from the internet because her computer is in need of a major rebuild.

Cleaning the garage, day 2.

Came across an unholy swarm of bugs nesting in some unused and still boxed shelving. The box was damp and puffed out. There was dirt beneath it. How odd, I thought and went to move it. Tipped it up AND ALL THESE LITTLE BUGS WERE SWARMING BENEATH IT.

I haven’t been back to the garage. When hubby gets home from golf he will remedy this.

I can’t stop itching.

I hates bugs.

ETA: My ears popped.

Good morning everyone.

That uh…pizza…um…eeewwww!

Had a great time with my sister last night. She’s still sleeping.

Hubby and I suffered a major disappointment this morning. We both went out to the coffee maker to pour our first cups of coffee. So, we’re both standing there, mugs in hand, when we noticed the coffee carafe was empty!:frowning:

You, while hubby had actually ground the beans and put them in the coffee maker, and poured water in the coffee maker, he neglected to actually turn it ON.:dubious:

Oh the humanity!

I hear ya, Soapy, one or two bugs I can handle, but a swarm sends me hobbling in the other direction.

I started a family tree on Ancestry.com because I wanted the little Rosebuds to know there’s more to this side of the family than Dad, Grampa, and me.

Gorgeous weather today - I intend to venture outside a little later - but now is 'puter time.
eta: Taters, that’s just horrible.

I know, right?! At any rate, the situation has been fixed. I now have coffee.

Late breaking news!

 rosie

Glad on the popped ears and ewwwwwwww on the bugs, Soapy.

The lack of immediate coffee is…well, words fail me, Taters. :stuck_out_tongue:

Have uploaded some pictures to flickr and facebook and cleared out some stuff from the living room. Curtains are in the washer. Need to dust, wash windows and vacuum. Big fun awaits!

Back later.

Rosie: I lol’d. As in ACTUALLY laughed out loud!

Husband returned. Bugs are gone.
