I think you’re way off base here. Now don’t take this as a defence of Daphne, I simply don’t like the connection between her and November. The entire case for testing November is that he is the lowest poster in the thread - that’s it. If he begins posting tomorrow I will be all for changing my vote. The case against Daphne is that she is running off at the fingers and some people are getting a feeling about her - that’s it. I don’t see anyway to relate this except for them being opposites. If Daphne was scum wouldn’t it be easier to attack the plan to lynch the testee.
If anything I find your attempt to build a case from nothing and you’ve moved up my list of suspicious people (so far the only one).
Sorry I’ve been away from the game for most of the day. Reading the posts so far, I have to agree that we should start by testing and lynching the same person. I think that will help us later on, since we’ll have multiple data points for the killed players. And who knows, maybe we’ll get lucky and our first two kills will be one wolf and one town member, and that will help clarify the results of the testerizer.
Do they? Or do you know that neither of them is a wolf? Hmmm. I tihnk I’d like Seeker of Truth & Beauty to be tested and lynched.
Can we vote and unvote and lynch and unlynch at the same time? If not, then I guess just count my votes and discount my unvotes.
vote Seeker of Truth & Beauty
unvote November. (in an attempt to get SoT&B in the lead)
Thanks for explaining that. I’ll make sure I do it.
For the record, I’m leaning toward lynching the person we test(which is looking like November at this point). I think the data we collect from the test and lynch would prove useful.
Of course, I have not yet voted for lynching. I’ll vote tomorrow or thursday. 10 a.m. Friday is the deadline, right?
Except, in this case, we have the testerizer results.
The simple fact is in Day one we have nothing concrete to base the veracity of anyone’s posts on, just look at the conjecture going on here about if someone’s post is anti-town or not, based on “gut feel.”
So posting or not, it’s all noise.
Part of my reasoning for voting for the non-posting lurker is “out of game” - if you sign up for a game that requires at least a minimal level of interaction and you can’t post at least once, then you’re (most likely) a detriment to the game as a whole. This of course is a newbie POV, and I’m sure one of the experienced peeps will come in and say that it’s a valid strategy…but screw it.
I am more than willing to be convinced to change my vote. Preferably by, say, November…
Your attack on me is by far the scummiest thing I’ve seen at this point. Totally baseless (I’m talking and you have a ‘feeling’?). Especially because you smudge me and then in the same post vote for somebody else. You could have voted november for lurking, that’s certainly a reasonable tactic (even if I don’t think it’s the best), but choose to do so by trying to draw a connection to me, based on nothing at all. Scummy!
Vote for who you think is the scummiest, is the tried and tested rule. People who don’t do that are not being pro-town.
This is the first time I’ve played this kind of game, but this noob is not persuaded by the strategery so far discussed. Thanks for your input, but my votes stand.

Day 1 and the town is already falling apart. Either that or the werewolves are doing a particularly good job of creating dissension.
Something to keep in mind. One of the people creating the most dissension is DaphneBlack. She is also the only experienced player doing so. And doing a great job at it.
On a personal level, I totally agree with her about “being vociferous”. Hell, look at my posts in this game. It’s fun. But I get just the faintest sense of gamesmanship there…
Yes, I am a bit concerned about lynching November. While it will produce valuable data either way, I tend to agree with **rexnervous **that if November was scum, the other wolves would defend him/her.
The wolves do know who the other wolves are, right?
I am currently NOT changing my vote(for the record)
The wolves do know. It isn’t a given that wolves would defend wolves, especially given that we find out roles after lynching, but you’d still expect someone to say “let the lurker live. I think X is more suspicious.” We haven’t seen that.
