It’s a brief story saying that Talulah Riley, who played the robot hostess greeting visitors to WW in the last season, will also be a series regular in Season 2. But I can’t decide whether the second sentence below is a huge reveal or, well I don’t know what it means if it isn’t.
Now to me that implies that guests will still be coming to the park in Season 2 and that the robots will be killing them. But I haven’t seen any announcements by the creators which would justify that statement. Have I missed something and if I haven’t what the hell do they mean by that?
I think they just mean that she’ll be bad ass.
The one thing that kind of bugged me though was that “greeter” Angela seemed to be the only host who was aware she was a host.
Presumably all Hosts serving as greeters are aware that they’re Hosts and that Westworld is a theme park; it doesn’t necessarily mean they any more self-aware than the Hosts in the park, just that they’re programed that way so they can prepare Guests for entry into the park. Her being the last face the Guests could be referring to her killing Guests already in the part, not the more Guests will be arriving.
Don’t care if it is a spoiler. She was the hottest host in that park and if it means I’ll see more of her then they can do whatever they want. That scene where she greets William… the sexiest scene in the whole show.
I don’t think this requires spoiling … there are some who analyze trailers and scenes frame by frame looking in the background for clues. At this point I would suspect that the real trailers that have been released have footage that will not be in the show and is there just to mess with the minds of those who do that.
