What are those SUV stick figure family stickers?

Actually, they’re not family stickers. They’re for keeping score.

I’ve got two soccer moms, several children, and countless dogs and cats on my car.*

    • No, not really.

 That sounds terrible out of context.

Wow! Just imagine the fun anybody with Photoshop and some transparent sticker paper could do!

How about one stick man with a bottle and a rifle, and another lying on the ground: Name them “Dick” & “Harry”.

Or do something like the WW1 dog fight pilots: “Is that your family?”, “No, that’s how I keep track of how many people I’ve killed with my big-ass SUV”.

Or how about one guy with 44 kids… most with “???” instead of names.

Confirming South Florida sightings of these sticker-things. My personal take is that it’s to confirm the occupants’ “family values,” but I did see an amusing twist on a Honda Civic the other day: two “Daddy” stickers, and a dog sticker. That’s it!

 Holy shit, those things are so fucking retarded…

No, they’d not have to bother. When they’re in their trucks, they can’t see all the whiny little faces in the tiny cars below anyway. The fact that they legally pay for their gasoline purchases is usually justification enough.

I’ve seen them in central Illinois.

I want to get some of those for my ride; a man and a woman and two cats (since that’s my family), but I don’t want to invest the money in it.

Slight Hijack: Does anyone know where I can order customized bumper stickers at a reasonable price? I want one that says “None and we’re done.”

There should be a sticker that says “We all speak on our answering machine message too. Even the cat!”

How precious!

That was a response to the thread in general BTW.

FWIW, the ones I’ve seen (also in SoCal), are generally not as bad looking as the one linked to by the OP (sorry, Reply, but those are freaky), and are almost cute. YMMV.

Concurred.

My immediate reaction as well. Remember those ‘Keep Your Kids Safe’ Classes that frowned on personalized bike license plates and even kids names in GIANT Letters personalizing their shirts. I imagine they would be apoplectic over this …

Have noticed the In Memoriam thing only too, no families yet. In MD DC suburbs

Wouldn’t happen to be Mitchellville or Bowie, would it?

Way back (I assume this was about the time I was born) somebody gave my parents a set of routered name plates to hang on the outside of the house or apartment or whatever it was we were living in at the time. We’re talking one plate for our last name and then a plate for each of our first names. Quite wisely, my parents have never used it and I assume it’s sitting in the garage if it made the move.
