Where did I say you did anything?
You are a shifty, goal post moving snake hiss! But this isn’t octopus’s first rodeo.

“Socialism and communism”??? Oh my. You bragged about reading a book, but couldn’t even read or understand my post. All you could do is ignore it once you deduced it didn’t come from Donald Trump, Sean Hannity or Alex Jones. Pitiful.
I stand by my claim that Northeast Refugee is much smarter than octopus, but just now noticed his post in another thread, confirming that he is ignorant scum a la HurricaneDitka
So, I’m not people according to your words, that figures. As Hispanic, never forget that the one you follow has described that we come from shitty nations and that we are ‘infesting’ America and are animals… but some are good people, that are not allowed to get in if Trump can get away with it and with help of his enablers.
I said “shifty.” Get your goggles checked. And since I wasn’t writing in Parseltongue it’s obvious that I didn’t mean you were literally a snake.
Did not say anything about your shifty insult there, so even on that you are pathetic.
As I pointed before, Trump and followers are not Nazis, but they like to cosplay like them a lot.
The thing is: both Democrats and Republicans alike condemn the Stalinist and Maoist mass slaughters of innocents. But the Nazi mass slaughter of innocents? There are prominent Republicans who are Holocaust deniers, there are Trump supporters marching in the streets waving Nazi flags, and there have been self-identified Nazis running as Republicans in recent elections. The Stalinists are history apart from a few fringe loonies; the Nazis are very much alive and kicking in the modern Republican Party and the party is notably lax in its rejection of them.
Hang the frick on… Howie Mandel voiced the Muppet Baby version of Animal.
The venerable Frank Oz voiced the real deal.
Just needed to get that off my chest, now we’re back to our regularly scheduled train wreck…
There are a lot of people saying horrible things about groups of other people they dislike. Some of them say horrible things that are more horrible than the horrible things other people or saying. Some of them are saying horrible things about people that hold positions I generally agree with. Some of them are saying horrible things about people that hold positions I generally disagree with.
Some of the people saying horrible things have a high public profile. One of the people saying horrible things is the President of the United States.
Life is short. I do not have enough hours in the days to go around denouncing everyone that says horrible things.
So I will spend a large part of the time I have allotted to denouncing horrible thing-sayers to denouncing the President of the United States. Not because the things he says are the most horrible things. They aren’t. Not because I generally disagree with him. I do, but that’s not the point.
The point is that he’s the goddamn President of the United States. He has the ability and the responsibility to set the tone for public discourse. He has great power and with great power comes great responsibility. And he has totally neglected to exercise that responsibility.
So I will continue to call him out even as I let other stuff go. Even if the other stuff is more horrible than anything he has ever said. Because calling out random internet trolls is less important to me than calling out the President of the United States.
It is not original for me to note that the Venn diagram of “assholes” and “Trump supporters”, while elliptical at best in 2016, is nearly a mathematically perfect circle now in 2019.
Even this Board is reflective of that. While there are plenty of assholes against Trump (ala the OP), the only ones who come to defend him, do so by acting like assholes.
For example, Shodan’s post in this thread - instantly comes out of the gate aggressively, defiantly, being an asshole, when he could merely just answer the question:

I see Republicans here asking to be treated with respect. So let me ask, very respectfully, for your opinions on some of the recent events in the Trump Administration.
I recently pointed out that Mike Pence is either a criminal or is as stupid as a cockroach:
Will any of you fine Republicans comment on that?
Defending your dehumanization of your political opponents, I see?
You and the OP should get along swimmingly. But then the only reason you come in here is because you love to insult people. I mean, you’ve said yourself that that’s what you consider to be the sole purpose of the Pit.
Fuck that shit. It’s too late for that. They pissed it away, themselves.
You transparently dishonest hive dwellers fool no one with your insane ramblings. You honestly think the scripted tactic of blatant misrepresentation is in any way convincing? Waddle your big butt to the gym and work on self improvement. Having someone to share life with outside of the virtual hive will do you, septimus, maybe even lil’ Stevie some good.
You do realize that I didn’t actually ask you to prove that your entire existence for being is to throw around baseless insults, right? It was merely an observation; no more proof was required.
Entire? Now that’s an inaccuracy. Baseless? Another inaccuracy. Now stop typing and get to waddling.
No, seriously, I don’t need more proof!
Personally, I think asahi is a shoebox about 20% of the time (I thought the “insect” thing was out of line as soon as I saw it), and octopus about 75% of the time. (I’m sure I’m a shoebox occasionally as well).
If you type “Republicans are scum” you’ll get 410,000 results, so what I wrote was not at all wrong.
asahi is wrong - About 2,150,000 results
