It’s a skill only my scratched DVD has mastered.
Now the rain stopped and I am enjoying the silence in my house because everyone has gone to the baseball game.
Birds chirping, a gentle breeze rustling the leaves in the trees, the soft whine of my harddrive.
And occasionally some strange sounding tool from the neighbor’s house, and every once in a while, jets taking off from the airport.
“Five Miles Out” by Mike Oldfield which I’ve been looking for on CD for the past ten years and just now came across as a remaster at Newbury Comics for ony 6 bucks! Woo hoo!

At the moment, just the a/c and my tinnitus (portable crickets). I have no decent sound system in the home.
But a little while ago, when the a/c just couldn’t keep up with the Houston heat, I went for a spin in the car (good a/c) and played all of the 13th Floor Elevators compilation CD that I bought last night.
