what are you listening to right now?

The new Ryan Adams cd (he’s on SNL tonight).

I hate to say it but I prefer Whiskeytown…who is no more.

Ani Difranco’s Living In Clip. Good morning music

[minor hijack]
The Vandals also do a killer version of “Summer Lovin.” I love punk covers.
[/hijack]

I’m listening to a random playlist, and the current song is “Here in your bedroom” by GOLDFINGER. The only thing I wish came easier was finding a properly downloadable version of “Man, It’s So Loud in Here” by They Might Be Giants. Oh well. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hooverphonic! uh huh! Highly under-rated band.

Miles Davis, Kind Of Blue.

Right now I am listening to the Beau Hunks music to the Our Gang/Little Rascals shorts. I really wish I could find their recording of Laurel and Hardy music. Comming up next will be Rimskey Korsakovs’ symphony #3

Polymorphia by Kryzsztof Penderecki

Please ignore the second m I’s is iliterut.

“Sunburn” by Fuel for about the 43rd time today, if I’m correct in counting.

Some guy is singing a Newfoundland Sea Shanty on DNTO.

(Uh, that’s Definitely Not The Opera, a radio program)

Yes, that’s on the first MFTAGG album, called “Have A Ball”. You can find it most any non-mall record store. Their newest album is impossible to find, but it has badass covers of “Blowin In The Wind” and “Wild World”. My ICQ # is 53865259. I’ll be glad to send you all of the aforementioned songs.

RIGHT now? Nas’s first album (the only one of his I really like). But since I have a professional Dj setup behind me, and a motherload of records, I won’t be on the same thing for very long. I’m thinking an afternoon practice session starting with some reggae and hip-hop. Then I’m going to start experimenting with working in some old swing records my grandfather sent me. I think funk/swing/reggae/hip-hop can be combined to keep the kids dancing all nite. I wanna get it down tight.

DaLovin’ Dj

Right this very minute?
The Coyote Ugly soundtrack. I usually play the fourth track, “But I Do Love You” by LeAnn Rimes, over and over.

Jann Arden - Living Under June. Current song is ‘Could I Be Your Girl’

Well, do you mean the Less Than Jake song or the Me First song? (Well, I have both on mp3.) I know that MFATGG have albums, (of nothing but covers.) Hmmm…Vermonter, you say? I don’t know where in VT you are, so I’ll assume Burlington area. Try CD Go Round in the Church Street area, or one of the other music places around there. They are more likely to have MFATGG than a chain store. I don’t know if Less Than Jake has that song on one of thier albums, though.

(oh, and right now I’m listening to Live-“Lighting Crashes”, oh wait, it just ended, now it’s Guster-“Like a Prayer”)

(did I mention that I love cover songs?)

John Coltrane, A Love Supreme.
Just finished Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain.
Next up will be Bombay The Hard Way: Guns, Cars And Sitars, a collection of pieces from 60s and 70s Indian “Brownsploitation” flicks, conducted & written by Anandji Kalyanji. If anyone gives a shit.

Pedro the Lion, Winners Never Quit

It’s on the last song, so next up is Cracker, Kerosene Hat

Right now I’m listening to Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon (Track 5–Money). And no, the Wizard of Oz is not playing anywhere near me.

“Cosma Shiva” - Nina Hagen. I’m really spaced out right now, in case you’re wondering…

I’m listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack in less-than-glorious streaming audio
