I’ma gonna buy me some new-fangled eyeballs! Or, I’ve finally decided to get PRK/LASIK, now I’m just waiting on the tax return fairy. I know they’ll accept payment plans, but how odd is it to finance non-urgent health care? I am gleefully looking forward to the time when I hear a bump in the night and can simply open my eyes to see the cat swinging from the door jamb and not a vaguely menacing 7 foot tall shadow form.
Since I’ve had no less than 3 conversations with different family and friends in the last week, debating my status as a ‘hard to buy for’ person, I’m looking forward to jewelry and coffee schtuff for Christmas this year. Why these folks hadn’t figured out all things coffee/gold are a sure hit with me, I haven’t the slightest idea. Now that I’ve made it crystal clear, it ought to be a fun holiday.
Well I moved here to the US in mid September and moved into my new apartment about a week later. I have all the appliances but no furniture. My moving bonus finally got put into my bank account and my new sofa and love seat arrive on Tuesday at 10.00am and my bed on Friday.
No more sleeping and sitting on the floor for me!!

I’m eagerly waiting for the Lord of the Rings box set to come out so I can buy all three extended editions in one swell foop.
