Well mine are as follows:
- McClaron(sp)
- Lamborgini Countach
- Farrari
- Prowler
- Porshe
What are yours?
Well mine are as follows:
What are yours?
There can be only one… Porsche 911
Yes but you get 5 are you going to have 5 911 in your garage?
Here’s my random selection of five out of the many cars that I’d really enjoy.
Porsche 911 turbo
BMW Z8
Lotus Elise
Ferrari 360 Modena
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
1 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C
2 " " 289 FIA (slabside)
3 " " Daytona coupe ohhhh yes! Viper
is but a poor imitation!
4 Honda S2000
5 MB SLK230 Kompressor
If it has to be a convertible, switch #3 for BMW Z8
why do I always end up in places mentioning cars…
sigh if you build it, I will come.
Alright. Here we go.
Ford Mustang
Chevy Camaro Z28
Pontiac Trans Am
(Are there even two more???)
Mjollnir,
I think the other two vehicles that would fit in quite nicely on your list would be the 1985 Ford Escort (wagon) and any rusty bicycle.
Another random selection:
[list]
[li]Porsche 911 Turbo (the GT1 or the upcoming 980 would also suffice)[/li][li]Ford GT40 Mark IV[/li][li]Ferrari 550 Maranello[/li][li]Lotus Elise Sport 190[/li]Jaguar F Type (coming soon to a theater near you)
Well if we are going to include race cars, I’ll have to add:
Ford GT40
Chapparal II
Porsche 917
Porsch 908
Ferrari 250GT
Porsche 550 Spyder-actually add to the sports car list!
Mercedes 300SL
Toyota MR2
Ferrari F40
Shelby Cobra 427
McLaren F1
1998 (?) Dodge Viper GT2
1996 (?) Daytona IROC turbo, blue/silver
1994 3000GT VR4 convertible, black
1998 Eclipse GSX Spyder, black/silver (no such thing, but it could happen)
1993 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible, blue/silver
–Tim
I should add, modern, or classic? Those are my modern picks.
Classic would be
1969(?) Mustang GT500
1969 Charger, General Lee package.
1969 Z/28 SS
427 Shelby Cobra
69’s more than just a sexual position, folks, it’s also one of the best years for cars, right in front of 1996, which is when Dodge killed off, peaked, or brought out a shitload of killer cars. Lessee… 1996 for Dodge carried the death of the Daytona IROC, the Stealth R/T Twin Turbo, the Viper coming into it’s own, oh, my, there’s so much more, but my memory slips terribly so.
–Tim
Uh, you may have noticed I like convertibles
Shelby AC Cobra
Jaguar E Type
Corvette Stingray (Split Rear Window)
Studebaker Avanti (Way ahead of it’s time)
Dodge Viper
(First American sports car that looks half way decent in donkey’s ears)
All together now, “The Plymoth Phantom and PT Cruiser stink!”
Honourable mention (in no particular order):
Dino Ferarri. Just neat.
1960s MGB. Had one (and two '77s). The '66 was the monst fun.
Porsche 914. Not considered a “real” porsche (I have a photo of a European version in Volkswagen livery), but I dig it.
1957 Ferarri Testarossa
Acura NSX
Porsche Boxster
FWIW, I owned a white 1979 Porsche 911SC 3.0 litre coupé. It was the most fun car I ever owned, but I had to sell it because I needed more room to carry my gear.
Mr. Blue, love your first choice, you’re just off by 1 year. 72.
Gasp!
