It’s difficult because my son would kill me if I didn’t choose a super sports car and my wife would kill me of if I didn’t take a camper, so maybe a k-car that my wife could drive after I’m dead.
I like sports cars but I’m not that particular about it so I’d probably choose one.
That was my first pick, but then I remembered it needs an engine rebuild around every 5,000 miles, even in street trim (much less in a Group B tune). Czarcasm didn’t mention engine rebuilds being covered, so I guess they aren’t.
Maybe it’s too mundane compared to Rolls Royces or BMWs or giant haul trucks, but I would pick a new Hyundai Ioniq 5. I’d like to try out an EV for a little while, to see if it would be workable for me, and the Ioniq seems to be getting a lot of positive buzz lately.
Lots of people on YouTube seem to like it for a daily driver, and also for long road trips. And if you can’t trust random YouTubers, who can you trust?
