What computer game are you playing right now

Nope. Not even sure how to…I might delve into that if I find the game is worth a second run. For now (I’m at level 23 I think) and I am playing mostly as a kind of Barbarian. I’m using mainly an Elvish warhammer I picked up a long time ago, though I’m slowly trying to build up some crafting skills. I almost never use straight magic or even the Dragon shouts (though I have a dozen or so now). It’s just a pain in the butt to do so for me. Unlike most most cRPGs I’ve played, this one works well as a hack and slash for me. Biggest issue for me is collecting stuff and inventory management. I’ve been trying to do a lot of enchantment, but so far I only get really crappy magical rings and such for my build (Ooh, I can add +6 to my carry weight with this fancy necklace–neato)

(If you were referring to mods as in pure graphics, sorry! I’m fine where it’s at for now, and it’s probably all my PC will handle anyway)

I used the same basic idea. FWIW, here was my trick:
-Enchanted a hammer with the “catch a soul” enchantment, and used that (or a bow) as much as I could.
-When I had a huge collection of soul gems, I’d go enchant lots of jewelry with whatever enchantment was worth the most money.
-I’d sell the enchanted jewelry for a shit-ton of money, and use it to buy more empty soul gems.

It became a solid moneymaker, and eventually I was able to enchant my main weapon with some great stuff (I focused on fire damage). Every now and then I’d switch to a soul-capture enchantment to refill my gems, but for the most part I stuck with my burny hammer.

I’ve been playing a lot of top down shooters I got on Steam over the holidays Splatter & Helldiver the most. Also played a lot of Planet Coaster but am kind of stuck on some areas and am not sure what I’m doing wrong. Dusted off an old UnEpic game on steam and am almost finished with a hard++ playthrough. There’s all these side challenges you can unlock and complete and they unlock points for all chars - even ones not made yet - to buy special pets, weapons and armor, etc. Good metroidvania game.

I’ve been playing a lot of OpenTTD (the open version of Transport Tycoon). OpenTTD has so many great improvements over the original. Improved path finding and signals. In the vanilla the train limit was a couple hundred. Now you can have thousands. There’s also a huge amount of mods.

I’ve been playing a single game with now over 700 in game years. My company has an yearly income in the tens of billions and a net worth of several trillion. My corporate strategy has become dystopian in nature; razing cities to the ground and leveling mountains just so my train tracks can have the straightest line from A to B. I spend hundreds of millions to bribe city officials to look the other way as I reduce their city’s population to zero.

Right now I’m gonna test GTA 5 at max settings on my on my new gaming PC CYBERPOWERPC GXi760
(3.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB SDRAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 950, 1TB SATA III)

How do you think, can it play at 4k graphics?

Looks possible if you’re okay with 30fps. Or lowering graphic quality. The 560 isn’t really a 4k card but GTAV isn’t very intensive either.

I just finished Darkest Dungeon last night. Now to play that copy of Sniper Elite 4 I bought at launch thinking “I’ll play this right away!” and then started DD a day before it released :smack:

The 950 is last gen’s entry level GPU, so no 4K gaming with that. Well, no 4K gaming with demanding titles like GTA V. Pillars of Eternity ( a much better game ;p ) would run fine at 4K on that card.

EDIT: Huh, genuinely surprised the 950 is hitting 30 FPS on Ultra at 1440p. Maybe it could do low. Medium at 30 at 4K. If you’re playing ona 4K TV, and not sitting right on top of it, you can also probably get away with some resolution scaling. You don’t need to hit 4K for it to look better than 1080p.

Yeah, I meant to say AND lowering quality, not “or”. As I recall, GTAV isn’t as demanding as you might think, since it was originally made for last gen consoles. Of course, you can mod it into a VRAM-consuming beast if you desire.
