What did you have for breakfast?

Coffee and a TJ’s whole wheat cinnamon roll.

Nothing.

toast with peanut butter.

Cheerios. Bleh.

I’m having chips & salsa right now!

Cottage cheese (3%) and a cup of coffee.

I haven’t yet, but I’m planning to make scrambled eggs and maybe add cheese, or not.

I make a spread from a 375 g container of some kind of fresh cheese they call “quark” (not to be confused with sour cream which is called quark in German I believe), half of 200 g container of light cream cheese, about 200 g of olives and a handful of walnuts, the last two ingredients put through a Cuisinart. Spread it on a couple slices of my own mixed grain bread (corn meal, oatmeal, Red River cereal, ground flax, milk powder, whole wheat and white flour) and top with the cole slaw my wife made last night. Along with a 24 ounce pot of tea.

Probably much more than you wanted to know.

Toast with coconut peanut butter. Ingredients: Peanuts, coconut.

Coffee, black, three cups.

Plain Greek yogurt with walnuts on top, coffee

Three Market Day turkey sausage links, a glass of orange juice, and a [del]fart pill[/del] probiotic.

Same thing as I’ve had pretty much every other day since my in-laws harvested their tomatoes. Tomato, mayo, and cheese sandwich on a toasted hot dog bun. So tasty.

Coffee, a sliced apple, and a pile of crepes with butter. (Not as fancy as it sounds, and they’re actually faster than scrambled eggs once you get the hang of it.)

Leftover beef stew. Pear.

Grits and Bacon.

Today I had coffee, a fried egg over a bed of spinach (yes spinach, I can’t get enough of it) and a slice of toast. Not too exciting, eh? Yesterday, however, I had my boyfriend’s Banana Bread Deluxe!! What is that (?) you may be asking yourself. It is delicious, that’s what! A slice of warm homemade buttered banana bread with an over-easy fried egg on top drizzled with maple syrup. Mmm mm so good!!

A protein powder shake and an espresso. I really can’t stomach proper solid food first thing in the morning and the protein powder is a concession to all the “you must eat breakfast” advice.

Coffee, yogurt, and an apple. I’ll probably have the same thing tomorrow. Not Sunday, though - I’ll be out of apples by then.

Green smoothie–8 leaves kale from the garden, cup of homemade plain yogurt, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, 1 T cinnamon, banana, applum (apple-plum hybrid). I am used to it and I feel pretty good after.
