Okay, lemme see, in the main fridge:
whole milk
1% milk
a couple of Atkins shakes
Juicy Juice
In the secondary fridge:
Yogurt smoothies
Four different flavors of Sam Adams beer (about 20 bottles in all)
In the pantry:
Three flavors of Talking Rain Ice (the bottles say “carbonated flavored water”; it’s really soda with pretensions)
Diet Pepsi Vanilla
Diet Coke Plus
Store brand bottled water (for carrying to the gym with me)
Crystal Light Sunrise (already mixed)
In the pantry needing some easy prep:
Maybe a dozen flavors of Celestial Seasonings teas
Coffee
Crystal Light Raspberry Ice
Lipton Splenda-Sweetened Lemon Flavored iced tea powder
Pro Complex protein powder, chocolate flavored
Oh, and some powdered Nesquik for your milk, if you’d like.
Let’s see …
trots off
returns
umm…
Tonic Water
Wine - Some 2000 Zin’, some Merlot, some Cab-Sav
Sparkling Wine
Fruit Juice (Mango, Orange, Apple, Secrets of the Valley - a cherry/berry mix)
Coke
Appletizer
Flavoured and plain Milk
Homemade Lemonade
Creme de Cassis
Grenadine
Windhoek Lager
Guinness
oh, and
Sekanjabin, which is really the best thing for the hypothetical thirsty traveller. It’s a vinegar mint drink.
Oh, that reminds me, I forgot the wine “list”:
I have two bottles of Two Shilling Red
two bottles of Red Zin
two bottles of Settler’s Spiced wine
one bottle of Plantation Blush, all from Colonial Williamsburg Winery.
And most of one bottle of pinot grigiot that hubby got yesterday to make the Newburg sauce for dinner with. He forgot to buy the wine ahead of time, and the liquor stores in this county are not open on Sunday. So we had to drive into WV. The liquor stores aren’t open on Sundays there, either, but some of the markets sell wine and beer. So we found an open market with a small wine selection, and ended up buying a brand I was totally unfamiliar with. The sauce turned out good, though. And I’ll probably drink the rest of the wine over the next several days.
Not mentioning spirits.
Fridge:
Semi skimmed milk
Diet Coke (for the spirit from the West Indies)
Apple Juice
Highland Spring still water (for the spirit from north of the Border)
Highland Spring sparkling water
Diet Tonic (for the juniper flavoured spirit from London)
Badger Breweries Tanglefoot
Alcohol free Becks (I know, I know …)
Drinks cupboard;
Robinson’s Orange squash
Robinson’s Lemon squash
Rose’s Lime cordial
Strongbow cider
Angostura Bitters! (Not Bitter :smack: )
Bitter lemon
Soda water
More of all the things in the fridge
Assorted bottles and cans that have got shoved to the back!
Wine rack:
A dozen or so bottle of wine. Off-hand I can’t remember what’s there at the moment but there would probable be a mix of reds from Australia, France, Chile, and South Africa and whites from New Zealand and Italy.
Store cupboard:
Ground Espresso Coffee
Instant Coffee
Instant De-caf
Earl Grey tea bags
Old indian tea bags (don’t use them much but keep in for visitors)
Wierd herb teas Mrs and Miss Marcus like
Horlicks
Cocoa
Hot chocolate drink.
Good grief - I hadn’t realised how many different drinks we keep in!
I’m in a hotel right now so currently have two Tiger Beer at my disposal, sigh.
This reminds me of a certain (and possibly apocryphal) cocktail called the 619: presumably named after the Ontario lottery, it’s comprised of one part sixth bottle from the first shelf, one part first bottle from the second shelf, one part 9th bottle from the third shelf. I think at home that worked out to tonic water, drambuie and boodles gin. Shudder.
We have:
Diet Mug Root Beer
Diet Mug Cream Soda
Home made Ice Tea
Brita Water Pitcher
Milk
Tropicana OJ
AJ
Bass Ale
1 Heineken
A few cans of Coke
Some water bottles.
I keep a supply of other sodas in a cabinet for guests.
2 liter Coke
2 Liter Ginger Ale
Some cans of 7-UP
More diet Root beer and Cream, I don’t want to run out.
A few Bottles of wine, nothing very good. We don’t drink wine much any more.
My wife keeps a ready supply of coffee to brew and makes a pot every morning.
We keep a tea kettle on the stove and I think my wife has about a dozen types of teas.
Jim {Silenus, how did that Bud Light sneak in your fridge?}
I haven’t broken the wife’s habit of drinking bottled water yet!
Nearly finished bottle of Schweppes lemonade

You crazy furriners sure do drink a lot of soda
I have:
Tea (bags, I’m afraid)
Coffee (instant and cafetiere)
Cocoa
Blackcurrant cordial
Orange juice
Milk
Stella Artois
Various bottles of wine
Pineau (does that count as hard liquor?)
And a whole mains pipe full of Thames water (none of that bottled crap here thank you!)
Oh and tonic water, but that’s only consumed with the hard liquor
Milk
14 cans of Guinness
I have:[ul][li]Filtered water (my usual drink)[/li][li]Dr. Pepper (for my boyfriend)[/li][li]Diet Pepsi (mini-cans, for when I want soda)[/li][li]Guinness[/li][li]Bass Ale[/ul][/li]That’s it. No tea, no coffee, no Kool-Aid mix, etc. Not even milk, as I don’t buy it regularly anymore (like OpalCat I use milk for cooking and not for drinking, but I’m not eating at home much these days).

My own thread, and I forgot the wine rack. :smack:
Add to my list =/- 100 bottles of wine. Mostly reds, with a preponderance of wines from Mandolina and Fess Parker.
