I’d say with a catch in my throat, “You think I’m a man?”
I would think he or she was attempting to groom me.
This in fact happened to me in a way - class picture at age 14-15: parent of one of my classmates remarked to this classmate that I was such a pretty girl, a comment which I believe happened, also a (much) older brother of another classmate supposedly said similar, a comment I don’t necessarily believe occurred.
I was somewhere between bemused and befuddled: I could, in a way, see them taking me for a girl in that picture (fairly long hair, no facial hair, chin not as noticeable in this shot), but to me it wasn’t remotely a pretty one.
In hindsight, for that age, I was remarkably unperturbed.
“If you were human, I still wouldn’t care what you think. Na Noo Na Noo”
I like to amuse myself when asking my father’s opinion about something guy-related:
“Pop, you’re a guy, right?”
When he agrees, I can then ask my question, which usually has to do with why guys have to adjust themselves.
