What does it have in it's pocketses, Precious?

Not an apostrophe in “it’s” for a start . . . [pedant]

Nothing right now because I got to work and immediately emptied my pockets. Before emptying, my pockets had: Wallet, Keys, Keys, Cell Phone and … damn it where are my glasses? Shit, I left them at home. It’s going to be a fuzzy day.

Left jeans pocket: Wallet, mobile phone

Right jeans pocket: 20 Marlboro Reds, cheap lighter, keys (with 2 bottle openers and a torch on them).

LF - car/house keys
RF - cell phone
LR - nuthin
RR - nuthin - but if I was wearing jeans, I would have my wallet back there. I have a big “girlie” wallet I keep in my purse, but I have a man’s wallet for cash and credit cards. So portable!

Batman has nothing on me.

Right pocket of fleece jacket: debit card.

Left pocket of fleece jacket: debit card receipt for one Starbucks eggnog latte.

It was yummy.

Right pocket: String

Left Pocket: nothing.

I can tell you without looking:

Left Front: keys, change, small bills
Right Front: inhaler, cellphone
Right Rear: wallet
Left Rear: slips of paper that I need to have on me for a short period of time (optional)
Coin Pocket: 0-5 quarters.

If there is something amiss about this arrangement, I will not be able to leave the house until I’ve determined what it is.

A year ago, the list would have included the shirt pocket, left:

Cigarettes, lighter.

It took me about six months to get over the fact they weren’t there when I was walking out the door.

aha, another Flashlightaholic, i see…
[teasing] my lights are better than your lights  [/teasing]

Jeans: RF: $1

Coat: Left: left glove
Right: right glove, bandanna, two ticket stubs, shopping list of unknown date

It’s be pretty tough to carry anything in your pocket brighter than a Surefire 6P. Do you pay for the batteries for that thing yourself? You should carry one of these in your breifcase.

Pants:

Right: Keycard and two pennies
Left: Empty

Coat:

Right: Keys, $15 and some loose change, a pair of Aaron’s socks, his dogtags and birth certificate and an old note from preschool.

Left: Two bucks and a green Sharpie.

Robin

Left pocket: Some coins and lint.
Right pocket: Lint
Back right pocket: Wallet

I travel light.

Dude, you are so lucky. You wouldn’t believe the crap I’ve had to do for him because of some photographs.

[Drool]Dammit, don’t do that to a flashlightholic!, now i want one![/drool]

would you wave a bottle of whiskey in front of an alcoholic, taunting them with what they can’t have? (afford), no, then why do it to a Flashlightholic

my god, man, won’t someone think of the children?!?

Man, it’s like I don’t even exist:

That’s 100 lumens max output that came in use one night when the things got a little rowdy at one of my haunts and the bouncers needed an extra hand. (It ain’t usually like that–I avoid those sort of places–but I’m also not going to let a brother get clubbed over the head with an empty bottle, either.)

I have a Petzl headband light that I generally keep in a bookbag or jacket pocket, but it’s a little too bulky for the jeans/pants pockets.

I’m wearing jeans, and I have nothing in the back pockets. Just in case my husband comes along and grabs my ass. Grabbing my ass is all that’s likely to happen, though, because in my front pocket I am carrying a spare tampon. :frowning:

This is like the flashlightaholics anonymous hijack. I’m afraid MacTech’s 6P has yours beat by 20 lumens. That’s nothing compared to the M6 Guardian I linked to earlier. The output on that beast is 500 lumens  ! A fellow addict I know has one, and after spending 42$ on batteries it’s like a freakin’ portable searchlight. I almost looked into it to see how bright it was at first, until he warned me. The damn thing left spots dancing before my eyes when he shone it in my face with my eyes closed.

Um.

A pony tail holder in LF.

Spare Lego bit in RF (need to put it with the other Legos, but it will likely end up in the wash).
Coat pockets contain gloves.
Christ I’m boring.

Only if he has the P61 high-output head on it, which taps the batteries out after 20 minutes. The standard P60 lamp assembly only puts out 65 lumens.

I’ve handled the M6-CB and it puts out so much light you expect it to have a recoil. The M3 is easier to carry, though.

The D2 I carry has come in handy a number of times when poking around through old equipment stored in the back of some old hangar; Lt. Dumbjohn is standing there with his Ray-O-Vac 2C cell putting out slightly more light than a candle and bitching that we can’t see this thing that we’ve travelled to the middle of Ghod-foresaken Wyoming to look at and then I give it a blast with the SureFire and watch him stagger from the reflected light. They always want to know where I got it and how much it costs. And I’ve only had to change batteries in it once since I’ve bought it, since I mostly used it at the 15 lumen level.

I should just become a personal distributor for SureFire.
