Really? Sweet. Thanks, I will.
I like the various interpretations i hear from different posters. I dont want to spoil that by giving my intended meaning. Suffice to say you are in the right universe.
ETA: my meaning isnt as wholly positive. It has more of a dichotomous meaning.
I guessed it to be a play on “invalid”, with the ambi- prefix converting it to meaning that your injury has had various effects on your life, some bad some good.
In any event, I think it’s way more interesting than the pun in “a trophy guy”, I wouldn’t change it.
Ambivalent Invalid? That’s what I always assumed.
I used to be spooje. Changed to Typo Negative.
- I clearly cannot spell. Or type
- I am big fan of Type O Negative
- It is also my blood type, misspelled.
You are much closer. Good job. And i havent decided for sure if im gonna ask for another change or not. Thanks for the feedback.
ETA: as far as Ambivalid: think “ambivalent” and “invalid” and “valid” as well as the already mention prefix “ambi-”. Its a combination of all those terms.
Yes! But not just that. Haha. Im really not trying to hijack this thread tho.
I have some board favorites: Ann Hedonia is probably my fav. Also Czarcasm, Hellestal (sp?) and a few more than im blanking on because im trying to think of them.
We all did.
Mine is S N Faulkner’s Amateur Radio call sign.

Some say that Sisu stands for the Finnish philosophy that what must be done will be done, regardless of what it takes. Sisu is a special strength and persistent determination and resolve to continue and overcome in the moment of adversity…an almost magical quality, a combination of stamina, perseverance, courage, and determination held in reserve for hard times.
But the secret is that it is Finnish for S N Faulkner…
Susan means Lily. Make of it what you will.
The voices of snfaulkner are many and varied.
…but on the upside, you’ve always got a good parking spot?
I just needed something simple and easy to remember.
It’s S.N. Faulkner’s fault.
No ------ I’m S. N. Faulkner. And so’s my wife!!!
This thread was just calling for a Python reference.
Jophiel is, in Jewish pseudepigraphical lore, the name of the angel sent to expel Adam & Eve from the Garden of Eden and watch over the gate to prevent their return. I learned it during a period of research on various angels, myth, lore, etc.
Way back in the IRC days of the early-mid 90s, it was my usual handle since you couldn’t register/hold a name on Efnet and most angelic names would be in use when I logged in. Jophiel was obscure enough to generally be available and became my usual online moniker. Of course, the internet being a much larger place these days, it’s now typically taken when I get around to registering for things so I use it much less often.
I often sign emails with my first initial, J. So I’m a.k.a. J.
