I was born on the eighth of August.
That’s right! This year my birthday will be 08/08/08. And it will be the end of my 44th year, which also adds to 8.
If I were Chinese, I’d be very lucky.
I should have been born on Halloween, though. Not sure what that does to things.

Yeah, we’re ‘Tweeners’. I remember Gen X, and I remember not being one of them. Those of us who had older siblings got a dose of the Boomer childhood as well, and knew we didn’t quite belong there, either. We mostly just muddled along and did our own thing.

Yep. My older brother was born in 1957, definitely different. I never have fit in anywhere. Tweeners sounded right to me the first time I heard the term.
