Hmm… for me it was a combination of how horny I was, how decent looking the guy was, how interested he appeared and how out of my mind I was. (ie blitzed or only tipsy)
It was a combination of the four mainly. I don’t even always have to be drunk or drinking at all to just wanna get laid and try to find someone. Only I’ve learned to be more circumspect about it. A couple of guys I’d just wipe off the list if I could and if I had the chance again would not have. But then everyone has those ones I think, pretty much anyone who has had more than one or two partners might think that IMHO.
How did a guy know this about me? I was willing to talk with him about almost anything, I would lean in close and touch his arm/leg that sort of thing.

This is just one more example of the tragedy that can result when one is too circumspect about these matters. Today’s finishing schools should, nay must, stop tip-toeing around the inevitable consequences of inattention to modest behavior and address these issues directly and unambiguously, for the sake of the nation’s young women and naval personnel. Action must be taken.
In all fairness, “wedging oneself in” is preferable to “hanging one’s shirtsleeve in the laundry hamper.”
