I missed this thread the first time around (since I wasn’t even on the board yet), but was pretty surprised to read about Christopher Nance’s history. Wow.
I miss some of the LA news personalities. Somewhere, I still have a picture of Gail Anderson half-jumping into my arms and kissing me on the cheek at the UCLA Book Fair. Good times.
Gail Anderson is a special events reporter on KTLA 5 and still going strong.

I can remember when Jimmy Kimmel was the shmuck who called in to the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ when they were just local. I think he was actually a KROQ employee, but they tried to pass him off as just a fan.

Yep. And Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew Pinsky. ISTR (Lisa) Kennedy moved on to bigger things too. I was dismayed when I found out she was a Conservative. 
I was wondering what Big Tad was doing nowadays, and I saw that Lisa May was fired a couple of years ago.
Adam Carolla went to my high school, we were almost in the same class. In fact in his “autobiography” he mentions our trig teacher by name. Apparently he didn’t like her. I on the other hand remember her fondly.
