What fictional characters would you support for president of the U.S.?

You must be feverish, or mean a Chuck Xavier preceding, oh, 2000 or so. The current one would be a telepathic version of George Bush.

To keep this to American Citizens that thus qualify under constitutional law, I will nominate Theodore Roosevelt. Despite being real, he has appeared as a fictional character many a time now. I believe is he better qualified to bone up on current affairs and correct the many problems we have than any other citizen in the history of the US real or fictional.

If that is not acceptable, I will choose Valentine Michael Smith just for the fun of it. Think about it a legal US citizen, fabulously wealthy and incorruptible. He even has some special powers to assist him. I think he deserves a chance to build a team and clean up our current mess.

The President from “Independence Day” as played by Bill Pullman. He can fly a jet, doesn’t mind getting in the mix, and knows how to give a speech.

Not to mention he once associated with the Borg, he even led a cell. We cannot afford that kind of terrorist.

Jed has little formal education, it’s true; but I don’t think it’s accurate to characterize him as not having too much upstairs. In any case, it’s well established that he is honest and has great integrity. Jed was never figure of fun the way Jethro, or even Granny, was.
