What happened at the end of this Frasier episode?

I missed the last 5 or 10 minutes of Frasier last night, and this morning I found myself wondering what happened.

It’s the ep where his son visits him and has become a goth, along with a friend Andy, and Frasier doesn’t get to see him for most of his time in Seattle. Niles realises he never had any time of teenage rebellion and decides to do it right now, Roz gets him a hash cookie that Martin ends up eating. So Niles thinks he’s high but isn’t while Martin is high but doesn’t know it - some very nice plotting and setup go on in there.

I assume they work out that the cookies got switched but I can’t think how, as only Martin knew he ate the cookie. And what happened in the subplot with Frasier’s son?

Also, we’re a bit behind here in Australia as you can see, how long do we have before the final ep? I assume we’re in the last season, it has a bit of that feel about it.

Thanks, great resource. So Frasier works it out, basically. But it doesn’t say what happened with Frederick at the end; does he stay at Andy’s place or have some quality time with his father?

I see we are in the last series and only 12 to go, plus a Special. As they’re playing two a week here, it’s not long now.
