I just thought of something.
Hurricane Katrina was so bad, and such a newsmaker, that every girl and woman named Katrina must have heard a few jokes or awkward remarks. So I want to know, what was it like?

I am not a Katrina, but a recent hurricane did carry my name.
The jokes were lame, but I clipped and saved some headlines:
LARGE MARGE SLAMS INTO COAST
and
LARGE MARGE SHOWS FLORIDA NO MERCY
etc., etc.
I just wonder if Katrina and the Waves are still walking on sunshine.
Or, there’s the ‘name the baby after the storm’ trend, as evidenced here .
And now all the people named Ophelia will go mad.
I know my friend Andrew enjoyed having been the most expensive disaster to hit the US, and he’s now disappointed to have been dethroned.
Katrina seems to be rather upset about it. You need to go to the Katrina Leskanich link, it doesn’t link directly for some reason, and then pick “message from Katrina.”
I heard she was making a come-back tour and all… flooded a city (with fans, I guess) and packed a stadium. Nice for her!
