Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: nothing
Dinner: no idea yet, will see what happens
Pretty much a typical day.
Breakfast: nothing but a cup of Earl Grey, brewed extra strong and served with a splash of whole milk.
Lunch: dunno. I failed to make my usual sandwich to bring so I’m stuck with whatever I have sitting in my locker. It’ll either be Top ramen, which I’ll have to limit because of the carbs and salt, canned generic chili that I’ll have to limit because of the general grossness and salt, or some vending machine trail mix which, frankly, might be the best option.
Dinner: No clue. Tonight is parent/teacher conferences so I’ll be home late. Probably a fend-for-yourself night and if so I’ll have a bowl of cheerios or a sandwich.
Yesterday:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins, and walnuts.
Lunch: Leftover pizza
Dinner: Trader Joe’s meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and a salad.
Today:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins, and walnuts.
Lunch: Probably the leftover Trader Joe’s meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
Dinner: Probably the rest of the Trader Joe’s meatloaf (it says the package is three servings). I don’t think there’s enough potatoes left for a third serving, so I’ll probably end up putting together whatever other random leftovers and veggies are in the fridge for sides.
Breakfast: a couple of brown-and-serve breakfast sausages, and coffee.
Lunch: a veggie “Buffalo chikn” patty, with some cheese on it, on a wheat sandwich thin (serving as a bun for the sandwich).
Dinner: TBD
Breakfast: Yogurt with Great Grains cereal and blueberries, everything bagel with cream cheese, and coffee, black.
Lunch: Chicken Salad sandwich and french fries.
Dinner: Spaghetti with garlic bread and salad.
Breakfast: Coffee
Lunch: Leftover Home Run Inn pizza
Dinner: Taco casserole with Fritos on top for crunch.
Breakfast: Water and 1/4 of a cookie.
Lunch: 6" turkey sub and 1/4 of a cookie
Dinner: Not sure yet
But it will involve half a cookie, right?
I thought I was the only one. I can’t remember the last time I ate more that a token bite of something before I got home from work at around 6pm. I just don’t have an appetite before then.
Bacon and blueberries.
Two bananas, a cinnamon roll and a glass of milk.
An apple on the way to work, then Tostitos with a cheese cup and salsa for lunch. Might get a handful of pistachios in a bit. Dinner hour🤷♀️
Not for dinner, don’t be silly.
But I do have a bowl of ice cream most evenings.
No, no no. 1/4 cookie. That saves 1/4 for a before bedtime snack.
Same here. Plus, I get a little lethargic if I eat anything substantial during the day.
Today? Two granola bars and two cups of coffee.
Filet mignon with pepper sauce, mashed potatoes and green beans; clam chowder as a starter; one pale ale and one glass of Shiraz. Little celebration.
That sounds perfectly lovely, but that probably belongs in our distinguished thread “What’s for Dinner Tonight, Episode 2021 - A New Hope”! ![]()
Aside from a bran muffin from Tim’s in the morning, that is all I’ve eaten today.
Breakfast: Egg scramble with a bunch of veggies (onion, red bell pepper, jalapeno pepper), and ham
Lunch: Leftover pot roast in a sandwich
Dinner: Smothered pork chops with spaetzle in a mushroom-onion gravy. Steamed broccoli.
Breakfast: Sausage patty and over-easy eff on low-carb toast* w/olive oil marge.
Lunch: Cheeseburger on low-carb bread.
Dinner: ½ bowl cabbage soup and ½ bowl veg w/cheese sauce.
*Low-carb bread = Sara Lee Delightful Healthy Multi-Grain bread.
