What have you eaten today?

Breakfast- dunkin coffee, cake, orange juice, leftover chipotle bowl.
Lunch-peanut butter sandwich.
Supper-potato skins.
Will try healthier tomorrow.

A lot of people mention coffee. I drink (almost – Wifey has a couple of cups) two pots of coffee per day. That’s why I don’t mention it.

Yes, coffee with 1% milk is the very first part of my day. Non-negotiable. It often stands in as breakfast until late morning, when actual breakfast occurs. Today:

Breakfast: Ham and cheddar scramble with chopped chives and mushrooms, 1 apple
Snacks: Packet of veggie straws, spoonful of peanut butter
Dinner: 1/2 small NY strip steak, whole grain rice medley and another pile of steamed spinach

I rarely eat lunch, and when I do, I give up either breakfast or dinner for it.

B: Coffee with oat milk; green onion pancake with lime/jalapeño chili crisp; apple.

L: Bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and avocado; banana; green tea.

D: Falafel in pita with sauces and veg, as before; Oatly Raspberry Swirl ice cream (sic); water.

If anyone was just dying to find out, I ended up having the rest of the meatloaf, steamed broccoli with parmesan cheese, and some leftover rice and beans.

And if we’re sharing literally everything we ate, I snacked on some leftover Halloween candy and chili cheese Fritos between lunch and dinner.

Breakfast: Coffee with cream
Lunch: None
Dinner: California burrito, al pastor

I see we have a few other OMADs here.

Multi-grain cold cereal topped with raw cashews and pistachios;
I usually add blueberries but was out of them today.

A salad consisting of red bell pepper, broccolini, avocado,
and apple (all organic), and feta cheese.

Later tonight I’ll enjoy my daily snack of cocoa powder added to milk
and to organic unflavored yogurt.

It seems terrible! I eat pretty lightly until dinner, but by then I’m STARVING. I hope it’s working out for you guys and you’re not miserable.

Breakfast: a banana
Lunch: two tamales (one beef, one chicken)

If we’re including drinks, this has been a very atypical week for me. I usually drink several cans of seltzer and diet cola over the course of a day. But lately my teeth have been bothering me and I’m cutting out carbonated drinks for a while to see if that helps. I’m currently on day three of drinking tea and water.

Peanut butter sandwich. Budweiser beer battered Cheese Bites.
So far.

Breakfast was bagels from Katz’s Deli in NYC. Cream cheese, lox, avocado and bacon toppers.
Dinner will be spaghetti Bolognese at a local restaurant.

Doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve been doing >16 hr fasts for >25 years now, and OMAD for the weekends. Switched to OMAD full-time when I lost access to the work cafeteria. Even after a full day, I’m not hungry. I only get truly hungry after heavy exercise, like a full day of backpacking or snowshoeing.

Yes, I’m amazed that the three-meal-a-day ritual is as common as it is.

It’s a rare day when I have even two meals. It’s usually dinner and maybe a few snacks before or after, or not.

Breakfast: Sausage patty and over-easy egg on low-carb toast w/olive oil marge.
Lunch: Big-ass meatball sandwich on low-carb bread
Dinner: 5 hot wings, taco salad, and a couple of grande margaritas.

B: Cold multigrain cereal with oatmilk; hazelnuts; prune; coffee with oatmilk.

L: Swiss cheese; wonton soup as above; green tea; chestnuts.

D: GF pasta with tomatoes, artichoke hearts, shallots, and lemon olive oil.

I’m on the five-meals-a-day strategy, albeit that most of them are smaller than they would be if I were only eating two or three meals a day. I’m diabetic, and smaller, more frequent meals help me keep my blood sugar from spiking as much.

Breakfast: 2-egg omelette with ½ Jimmy Dean’s sausage, ½ linguiça, and cheddar cheese, and 2 rashers bacon.
Lunch: Nothing.
Dinner: Half a rare rib-eye steak, small baked potato with olive-oil marge, sour cream, and chives, Dobel tequila, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Expensive frozen crab poppers. Yes, they listed jalapeno but I overlooked that. Just one and it was too hot. My nose started running. Had to give them away.

I don’t understand. I mean, I understand the words; but not put together in that order.
