Anyone want to buy me a toy for Christmas?
Santa won’t bring me one.
I’ve been a vewwy, vewwy bad boy this year.
Hint: One can conveniently find it here.
So what is on your wish-list?

I’m cheaper than you are. I want a game-worn hockey jersey - and since the player I’m sponsoring is a rookie I can probably get one for under $500.
It ain’t gonna happen.
I honestly can’t think of anything I want for Christmas, at least not materially.
My husband asked me what I wanted last night, and I really couldn’t think of anything. I told him to get me some comfy pjs or gift cards to Borders. I guess I’m easy to please.
I probably sound like an 8 year old, but I really want a new bicycle and a couple PC games.
I ride my piece of crap bike almost everyday and the front wheel is wobbly and the brakes barely work.
I want hockey skates…which I am buying for myself tomorrow. I have a problem with patience.
SnakesCatLady, which player/team? I’ve started collecting game used sticks. I also have a practice worn practice jersey that I wear to games now.
I don’t know yet what I want for under the tree, so just send cash.
What I want for Christmas is for all the Christmas hype to go away until after Thanksgiving. Like three weeks after Thanksgiving, if at all possible.
OMG 500 for a sweaty ripped-up jersey?
Methinks I likes you already
That what MissusCabin said; some flannel pajama’s.
And here I was - all ready to get some lingerie for her. :smack:
A pretty leather guitar strap. Brown, please. And unique.
Thanks
Q
It used to be: school started after Labor Day, Halloween wasn’t advertised in September, as wasn’t Christmas in July.
And we walked uphill both ways to school and back…
A boyfriend. Or a scholarship. Or a boyfriend rich enough to pay my tuition. That would be lovely.
I’d like a new pair of jeans. Maybe some sneakers that aren’t mostly black. And some dough so I can save up for a new camera lens or flash.
Oh please Caridwen, oh please can I use that line in a song?
I’m one of those annoying people that only wants practical gifts. Lastyear, I got carpet for the office/den, a teakettle and toaster. For my birthday, I got a door. When it comes to non-practical things, I prefer to pick them out myself, but I usually talk myself out of it.
But, when it comes to buying gifts for others, I go all out. I do research on things I know they like, and try to find something really unique.
Oops, I forgot to say what I wanted this year.
A rug.
It doesn’t even have to be the autographed one.
Hmmm.
A beautiful woman and various refreshing flavors of toothpaste. I’m willing to compromise on the toothpaste.
I’m a season ticket holder and booster club member for the Southern Professional Hockey Columbus Cottonmouths. As of now, I have 8 game worn jerseys and about 9 others (Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Grateful Dead, Starfleet Academy, etc.). I said I wasn’t going to get any more, but this is the first year I’ve sponsored a player and I would really like to have one of his jerseys.
Cabin_Fever, you’ll understand this story - the first auction I participated in was held during the game between periods. By the time the auction was over the game was underway and I arrived at my ice level seat just in time to see the jersey I had just paid $250 for being tugged on - by a linesman! I started banging on the glass and yelling “Don’t you tear that jersey! I just paid for that jersey!” When I got it home and washed it (with the help of baking soda -ewwwwwwww) my smartass husband looked at the puck marks and said “I can get those out for you!”
Back then (2001) we got the jerseys right off the back of the player after the game - now they are washed first. I like it better this way!
Some xanax might be nice.
Envisions Batsinma Belfry on a bear-skin rug.
Just wondering: if you/others could splurge, what would would you really like to get.
After all, practical and Christmas presents don’t always have to go together.
Just dreaming for that 60 foot yacht myself…
