I have a really problem with porn is that I feel the women are being objectified. In most of the porn I have seen (which is very little I’ll admit) women are just there for sex. There is not real seduction or any real attention to sensuality. Also, the women are very attractive, but the men tend to be average looking. I believe that porn makes men see women as sex objects and not as fellow human beings. Still, my spouse likes to watch it every once in awhile and I just don’t join him.

I believe this attitude is (sadly) not uncommon among women and, to me, it just shows total ignorance of men. Wyvern, I think your attitude is very self-centered. Men are not women with balls and cocks, men are very different from women in many more ways than that and many women seem to not understand this. If you judge a man according to your (female) standards, he will come up short.

Of course the reverse is also true. There are men who answer a personal ad with a sexually explicit response which is totally uncalled for. WTF are these guys thinking? They seem to lack all understanding of the other sex.

This is the way I see it: I know in general terms what women want, I also try to find specifically what each one wants, and I try to please them without regard to whether I think I would want that or not. If I care for her and she wants to cuddle, I will like to cuddle because I want to please her even though otherwise it may not be what I would want. But a woman who thinks men should want only what she wants and she finds no pleasure in pleasing him… well… I would not be with such a woman for long.

In general men are turned on by different stimulus than women. We are more visual. I enjoy porn and I consider myself a very healthy person with good capacity to communicate and have healthy relationships with women. If you think because i enjoy porn I objectify women… you don’t have a clue.
