Eva. She really looks like an Eva, or a Doug. Whichever.
She’s so cute I want to squeeeeeze her!

Before I read any of the responses I looked at her and thought “Amber”. Apparently I’m not the only one. I think she is trying to tell us something.
My first thought was Oscar. Yup definitely Oscar.
Or George
Yes I know she is a girl, but that’s what makes it fun.
Blossom!
What was the name of the little girl in “The Bad Seed”? Rhoda?
I look in her eyes see a sweetie who will do terrible things to your stuff when your back is turned, but no one will believe that such an angel could be so evil.
Of course, she’s a cat so all that pretty much goes without saying.
Are you sure it’s not Sammie? I’m hearing her say Sammie.
Looks like a Honey to me.
Boneless. Or maybe Flopsy, depending on how well she lands. Have you started trimming her nails yet to get her used to the feel?
I’m seconding Chupacabra. That pretty much rules.
Would it be too cruel to name her ‘Hobbes’?
(…you don’t know any little boys named Calvin, do you…?)
For some reason, when I saw that picture, I thought of Katherine Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
So my vote is Holly Golightly.
Congratulations on your new kittenmitten!
And her name is Chicken. Chicken or Pickles.
Chicken Pickles Flopsy the Third. Esquire.

and my username is actually the name of my first cat.

Mon frere! All my screen names are names of my cats.
And she sounds a lot like the cat who adopted me (found his way into the house, made his way passed the other cats and the dog, sat on my bed and stayed there) who I named Lucifer Sam (because that cat’s something I can’t explain) aka The Fold (because he was a Scottish Fold). After that I kept waking up with a cat on my head. I’ve really got to get photobucket so I can live up to the requirerment of kitty pictures.
I kind of like George, as she was very loyal to Nancy Drew. Either that or your cat will write Middlemarch.
Well, that makes more sense than Audrey Meadows in I love Lucy.
Hehehe, tomndebb! I’m a bit surprised that she hasn’t told you herself what her name is yet; I’ve heard tell that many do.
Anyways, my vote goes for Amber. My first thought on seeing her, though, was Tigress, for which I have no explanation.
Red with yellow eyes, long nose, sits on your shoulder as a constant sidekick, and has a high-pitched mew…
Polly, as in Polly the Parrot. Pollyanna if you want a more dignified name.
Then get an eyepatch and a pegleg and you’ll be all set for talk like a pirate day.
Oscar came to me as well, as well as Tangerine (call her Tansy for short) or Piglet (her little piggy nose).
What’s wrong with Piccolo? I think it’s adorable.
I know someone who named his new kitten “Beeker” because of his squeaky meow.
You should know the rules by now: you have not adopted a new kitty; your new feline overlady has graciously allowed you to be her slave.
An orange cat that likes to sneak, stalk, and pounce? What you’ve got there is a Tigger.
