I was trying to fill out a form online and got the following error message:
An application error has occurred! The error is: 3709The connection cannot be used to perform this operation. It is either closed or invalid in this context.
What does it mean, and how do I fix it?
What’s your browser? Site? Connection type? Etc?
Browser is IE 5.0. The site I was connected to was www.celebrity.com, and I was trying to fill out a registration form of sorts. Connected via wireless to a router connected by cable supplied by comcast. I don’t know whether the error number is defined by Celebrity Cruise lines, in which case it is hopeless. I was hoping it was in IE error.
Hmm. (Fixed link) Was it a popup on in the webpage itself? Did it re-occur? If it is and it does, I’d say it’s on the server end. They seem to be “upgrading” right now, so that seems likely.
That’s not something you fix. Give them some time, and if it’s not working, email the webmaster.
