Altoids, the curiously strong mints, come in six different flavors: peppermint, wintergreen, spearmint, cinnamon, liquorice and ginger.
I am not a big mint fan, but I do like the cinnamon and liquorice (licorice?) flavors. I have never tried the ginger, but if it is like spicy ginger beer, I would probably like it.

I have a tin of ginger Altoids sitting right next to me right now. Yum!
I like the cinnamon and the wintergreen ones. I haven’t seen the ginger ones yet either.
Peppermint? Whichever one comes in the red-rimmed tin.
For a while they had chocolate coated ginger ones.

The ginger is an abomination before Og. And I like ginger candies.

But I will consume half a tin of wintergreen some days. Just so good with a glass of water.
They also have creme de menthe as a flavor, though it might be discontinued now. It’s not that great. I still have a tin of it I’ve never finished.

They also had the peppermint and cinnamon varieties in a chocolate covered version, but I haven’t seen them in ages.
It is like that. Crunching 4 or 5 at a time is a lovely rush!
I knew Og. He was a patient of mine. He was into ginger altoids.
The only variety I’ve seen here in the UK are the peppermint ones, which are great. It’s odd that a brand that is British in origin doesn’t seem to get marketed much here.
I think I would like Ginger best, but I haven’t tried them so I didn’t vote for them. For now I’m going for Wintergreen.
FYI, I did see some “Cool Honey” flavored Altoids last week in NYC. I didn’t pick them up… though now I wish I had!
World Market/Cost Plus carries the ginger flavor, and Amazon does too.
I miss their sour candies 
The dark chocolate covered cinnamon ones, which are almost impossible to find.
Edit: Even Amazon.com just says “sign up to be notified when they become available”
I emailed them about that once, they didn’t give an explanation but peppermint is the only flavour they sell over here. I have to import the others when I want them.
You and I both. (I hadn’t realized why I hadn’t been seeing them at the local supermarket anymore. I thought it was just something I’d have to special order if I wanted them.)
