User Friendly is my favorite online comic. It’s like having back Bloom County. They have a number of years worth of archived cartons. Being computer knowledgable will help, or you won’t get all the jokes. Go back to the begining and work your way forward. The present cartons build on the past characters.
To pick a favorite charactor is hard, but I’ll go for Dust Puppy, no Peter , no Greg. Oh I can’t, they’re all to damn funny.
Please don’t list any that are available in newspapers, and just happen to be online also. Please do not print the F C strip word from the most hated comic strip thread.
Ignorance and apathy, I don’t know, and I don’t care.
A me too on Sinfest. Currently my favorite online comic strip. The pet tangents are my least favorite part, but I can see where pet owners might find them cute.
Between Sinfest and my number two choice, PVP, I usually get a chuckle each morning.
Sluggy and Sinfest are two out of the 20 or so that I check religiously. Supermegatopia was great, but The Brothers Grinn turned their attention to stuff that pays instead of the online site, and it’s pretty much dead now, sad to say.
[sub]I used to play Buck Naked on SMT Muck, FWIW. That right there should tell you what kind of comic it is. ;)[/sub]
Bruno the Bandit
Class Menagerie
GPF
Nukees
Ozy & Millie
Suburban Jungle
Those aren’t all the ones I read, just my particular favorites.
Then there’s RPG World, a MUST read for anyone who plays RPGs. It’s absolutely hilarious.
There’s quite a few others, but this list is big enough. Suffice to say I’m an online comic fanboy with a penchant for talking animals. What really scares me is that with all the ones I read, there’s hundreds more out there I’ve never heard of.
I read Sluggy, PVP, Acid Reflux, Avalon, User Friendly, Sherman’s Lagoon, Sinfest, Red Meat, and Real Life.
I like Avalon and Sluggy the best. I’ve tried reading a bunch of others, but there’s so much variety in quality… and I can only read about a bunch of gaming guys so often, you know?
Another Sluggite here, except that those elves annoy the hell out of me, so I always wind up giving the comic up around late November and then not remembering to start reading again until sometime in March. Then I have to spend a full evening reading 3 months worth of post Christmas comics.
I can’t believe no one has mentioned the glory of Pokey the Penguin! Wait. Yes, I can. Sorry about that.
