What is your favorite online comic?

http://www.userfriendly.org/

User Friendly is my favorite online comic. It’s like having back Bloom County. They have a number of years worth of archived cartons. Being computer knowledgable will help, or you won’t get all the jokes. Go back to the begining and work your way forward. The present cartons build on the past characters.

To pick a favorite charactor is hard, but I’ll go for Dust Puppy, no Peter , no Greg. Oh I can’t, they’re all to damn funny.

Please don’t list any that are available in newspapers, and just happen to be online also. Please do not print the F C strip word from the most hated comic strip thread.
Ignorance and apathy, I don’t know, and I don’t care.

Sluggy Freelance. Favorite character? Bun-bun the switchblade-wielding mini-lop.

Sluggy Freelance, to which I was made hip on this very message board. I believe it was lucie who started the thread which lead me to Niftiness.

Also, I just recently found Sinfest, which I’m enjoying the hell out of.

A me too on Sinfest. Currently my favorite online comic strip. The pet tangents are my least favorite part, but I can see where pet owners might find them cute.

Between Sinfest and my number two choice, PVP, I usually get a chuckle each morning.

I have to put up my vote for pVp. Funny, wacky, and everything that you love about comic strips.

PS: The comic book is even better. You should check it out.

I’d post a link to it, but it is “for adults”.

I’m with Gunslinger and Lux Fiat on this one. My answer has got to be Sluggy. How can you not love Bun-Bun?!

(Thanks to Jester for getting me addicted to Sluggy. As well as the SDMB, for that matter…)

Sluggy and Sinfest are two out of the 20 or so that I check religiously. Supermegatopia was great, but The Brothers Grinn turned their attention to stuff that pays instead of the online site, and it’s pretty much dead now, sad to say.
[sub]I used to play Buck Naked on SMT Muck, FWIW. That right there should tell you what kind of comic it is. ;)[/sub]

Others I read:

Kevin & Kell - decent “furry” comic strip.

Sabrina Online - Another furry comic, updated every month. A furry fanboy’s dream.

A large number off Keenspot:

Bruno the Bandit
Class Menagerie
GPF
Nukees
Ozy & Millie
Suburban Jungle

Those aren’t all the ones I read, just my particular favorites.

Then there’s RPG World, a MUST read for anyone who plays RPGs. It’s absolutely hilarious.

There’s quite a few others, but this list is big enough. Suffice to say I’m an online comic fanboy with a penchant for talking animals. What really scares me is that with all the ones I read, there’s hundreds more out there I’ve never heard of. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sluggy, Sinfest, Diesel Sweeties, Bobbins, and Red Meat. Pretty much in that order.

Userfriendly and Red Meat are certainly up there, but my absolute favorite has to be Goats.

The ones I never miss are This Modern World by Tom Tomorrow and Tom the Dancing Bug by Reuben Bolling. Both are online on the comix page at Salon.com.

I read Sluggy, PVP, Acid Reflux, Avalon, User Friendly, Sherman’s Lagoon, Sinfest, Red Meat, and Real Life.

I like Avalon and Sluggy the best. I’ve tried reading a bunch of others, but there’s so much variety in quality… and I can only read about a bunch of gaming guys so often, you know?

I’m a Sluggite. Riff being my favorite human. How can ya not love a guy that SPAMs Satan and then has Satan stuck in his computer?

I also like Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet because she reminds me of my friend Shannon.

Lets see…

My favorite currently is FreeFall.

I regularly check Sabrina Online, Ozy And Millie, Dragon Tails, pVp, The Class Managerie, Faux Paws, SpellShocked, and Acadamy Vale.

Check out the comics list at the belfry for a good online comics compendium. The Belfry Comics List

Ack! Forgot two more great ones, Schlock Mercenary and College Roomies from Hell.

Does nobody else out there read goats? Sluggy is cool though another favourite is the Japanese beetle (www.wfcomics.com/beetle)

Another Sluggite here, except that those elves annoy the hell out of me, so I always wind up giving the comic up around late November and then not remembering to start reading again until sometime in March. Then I have to spend a full evening reading 3 months worth of post Christmas comics.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the glory of Pokey the Penguin! Wait. Yes, I can. Sorry about that.

www.redmeat.com and www.supermegatopia.com are the only two sites that I visit often.

The only one I’ve been frequenting lately is Platinum Grit.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned GPF, Real Life, or Soap On A Rope.

But my favorite is You Damn Kid.
