Just did a search, for the first time, on threads started by me: 146 in the past 6 years (what a fun trip down memory lane…). And I only went over 100 replies twice – once when I was fortunate enough to start the weekly Amazing Race thread, and once for the annual Oscar thread.
Lots of duds.
So there should be a forum called “MPSIMS and no one else gives a rat’s ass about”.

My Pit Thread The Fat Man Rants did 74 replies for 3,230 views. Not particulalrly great for a Pit Thread.

I have had an appalling number of threads with less than 10 replies. This is probably because I am neither witty, coherent nor particulalry intelligent.

Although you didn’t ask, my personal favorite was Cat 'N Rat Farm.

Well by combining a game thread with the Simpsons I managed 355 replies and over 4,700 views with Simpsons Jeopardy .
The “Oh my god, there’s an axe in my head” thread didn’t have the most replies but it did garner the most views and it was definitely a lot of fun.
History repeats itself. On the internet, it just happens sooner.
I’ve started a grand total of 28 threads.
Most views: Let’s stop this conspiracy theory before it starts with 2364 views.
Most replies: So the Taliban wants proof, do they? with an utterly mind-blowing 42 replies.
I average 13.5 replies per thread I start.
I’m not much of a thread-starter, am I?
With a whopping 118 replies this one seems to be my most popular thread ever.
Fittingly enough, it was about why I seem to be a thread killer.
Looking at my history, I see that a whopping 33% of threads I started have received fewer than five replies.
At least Ask the 50’s Mom (a thread I particularly enjoyed starting) got a decent number of views.
By the way, could 5 more of you please click on Ask the 50’s Mom so it could get to 3,000 views?

The thread with the most replies was Invisible Idiots , with 367 replies. The one with the most views , at 6270 was this fake pitting of then-mod Eutychus . A game thread and a fake pitting. Go figure!
At 240 replies and 4,715 views, my thread called “…And you are? ” has gotten the most popularity. For a while there, it just wouldn’t die.
