Ok, just so I know the rules… Everyone of you has a vested financial interest in what you call YOUR respective bbs’s. Interesting I must be the only one on here that doesn’t own part of one of these boards. Last time I checked we still live in a (semi) free country and can post to any bbs we want to unless the actual owner bans us, which I’m sure they do often. kids today. <sigh>

Um, PBD, you seem to have a strange concept of these message boards.
The members (at least on this board) don’t have anything to do with banning you - the administration does that if you piss them off enough. Usually for acting like a jerk (read the rules).

Pit - it’s really hard to get banned from this board. I just posted something rather pointedly questioning what the admins are doing here, and the worst I’m afraid of is that they might have a better argument than I do.
We have posted rules (read, and compare with the LBMB rules) and one has to violate them in a major way to get kicked off. It takes a major effort to make life here miserable for everybody else to manage it.
Whereas I got kicked off the LBMB without violating their (lately) frequently-changing rules. (Parting is such sweet sorrow…)
Jesus Mary Joseph…I leave to go to a NYE party, and the board blows up while I’m gone. I second Lib’s comments above… DavidB, kudos for the apology. I still (and will always) feel we did nothing wrong by going over there…we never attacked anyone, only brought up another point of view. In my mind, the members of LBMB are to be pitied for being unable to handle that different point of view.

It was that very perversion of scripture that convinced me that their Admin had serious stability problems. As a protest, I posted a thread which I knew would earn me a ban. I considered their twisting of scripture to be nothing short of blasphemy, and I posted as much.
Notice, however, that the “agent of wrath” scripture has been removed from their Rules section.
If it took all of this to get that atrocity taken down, I consider all the trouble to be well worth it. I do apologize to you innocent bystanders, though.
