What IS your wallet?

Very small bi-fold wallet, not big enough for bills: just ID, a few credit cards and such. Bills go on a money clip, which doubles as a pocket knife. My buns hate sitting on a stuffed wallet, so I keep it as minimal as I can get away with.

A small binder clip. It holds together three cards with some cash wrapped around it.

I’m hoping to get rid of one of the cards soon.

I’m honored to be spoken of so highly!

For those who would like to keep their money with a wallet, I’d be happy to send my address…

I use this, clipped to my keys. It has my debit card, my AAA card, my license, and my university ID/bus pass. I use it because the front is clear, because it makes a unit with my keys, and because it zips closed, preventing my debit card from falling out.

I just mentioned this in another thread, but it might be worth repeating here.

Only a week or so ago I got my All-Ett nylon bifold wallet, which is amazingly thin but holds my cash, my ID, and several other cards of various types, e.g. insurance IDs and such.

When it’s in my back pocket I can hardly tell it’s there, even when seated. It’s a godsend for me, because my hatred of bulging wallets had led me to start using a tiny billfold, and then getting caught short if I didn’t have the right card on me. For example, I recently wanted to exchange some merchandise at Best Buy, but was refused because I didn’t have my DL on me.

I just use this little coin purse by Fossil that fits cards and has a place on the outside for ID. Bills fit nicely when folded in half.

My wallet is your basic leather bi-fold. I keep my credit cards & ID in it but not my cash. I’m right-handed so I keep the wallet in my back right pocket and I keep my paper money folded in half in my back left (I don’t ride public transport so I’m not worried about pickpockets). I try to avoid carrying coins at all, I dump them into my car’s coin thing when I get them.

When I first started carrying a wallet I quickly found that it was annoying to keep paper money in it. Or rather I found it annoying (and unnecessary) to have to take money out of it when I needed it…

One of these fellows, except in green, with a plaid lining.

I’m also female and, up to a few months ago, always carried a man’s wallet. Now I have a leather change purse that I’m really liking. It has two zippered pockets and a few of slots for cards, one of them with a clear plastic window. It also has a separate holder with three slots for other cards.

I use one of the zippered pockets for most of my cards and the other for extra cash that I don’t want to carry in my jeans pocket. The windowed I.D. slot holds the separate holder, in which I have my state I.D., my bus card and my debit card. I really like that if I’m making a quick run up to the store or somewhere close by, I can just grab the holder and stick it in my pocket and have everything I need.

If you’re interested in looking into getting one, Wednesday Evening, mine is made by Buxton and can probably be found at any department store that carries purses and accessories. I don’t know if any of the models have RFID blocking abilities though.

I staple my money together & tear it off as I need it.

I just switched out a black leather Ben Sherman bifold my wife bought for me on our honeymoon because it was falling apart.

I got one of these last month during a trip to the UK. What’s better than ironic tweed? I’m trying to figure out how to take off the “Harris Tweed” label because it’s thick enough to feel under my butt, but I’m afraid I’ll fuck the thing up. I’m also trying to figure out where to put my driver’s license because there’s no exterior pocket. Britons don’t have to show ID very often.

A very thin bi-fold card case. It has drivers license, medical insurance card, 4 credit cards (work, personal, business, and backup), and a couple $50 bills for emergency use only. That (and a passport) are enough to travel the world.

I carry two small ones. One is a card case for credit cards, drivers license, medical insurance cards, transit pass etc. This one I carry in my back right pocket. The other contains only cash, coins and my weekly laundry ticket. This one I carry in my left front pocket.

I used to carry my money and coins loose, like my father did, but it always bothered me. Hence the cash wallet.

I have used a thin money clip for years. Recently started carrying cards in one of these - only a buck apiece, thin and allows for six cards, two visible. Both in front pocket.

I have the Airmail Mighty Wallet. I love it.

I’ve been using basic nylon velcro wallets for decades now. Cheap, long-lasting and sturdy enough to carry all my crap.

This is my wallet.

I have the grey/orange one. Not because I’m all that worried about the RFID thing, more because I like the design and dislike leather wallets. Also it’s cheap. I don’t need to carry much, just cash and a few cards, so the small size is fine, and it discourages me from leaving non-essential crap in my wallet.

As I never put my wallet in a back trouser pocket, the compact size also means it fits just about anywhere, including a front trouser pocket.

I’ve just ordered a new one, as mine is getting a little worn after about 4 years of daily use. I’m sure it’d last a few more years, but they’re cheap and the seller is having a 10% off sale right now…

I have a dual sided wallet from Chester Mox, similar to this one, except mine is made from shell cordovan.

It’s very slim, holds everything I need, and it should last the rest of my life.

Bifold leather wallet, with an outside change pocket. Works well.

I have a few others that I use as well, but the bifold seems best for me.

I carry a Twelve South Book Book. It carries my phone, a few cards, a guitar pick, and one folded up $20 bill.
