Mine is The Bored, because in my previous internet life, I was known as ChairmanoftheBored.
No (for which I trust he’s eternally grateful). I was/am aware of the reference, but as I said it simply fits the ambiance hereabouts.

LizzyLAN for my cat Lizzy. Before that, I had Slicknet, but Slick the Cat went over the rainbow bridge. My router followed shortly thereafter, so I thought a network renaming was in order. I live in an apartment complex so I see a lot of router names when I do an area scan. More than one FBI van. I think someone chose it and a few others jumped on board. Longest neighbor is Enchanted Lizard whomever he may be.

We recently changed internet providers and could change the network name for the first time. The family decided on “Pretty Fly 4 A Wifi”. Not original, but the kids think it is hilarious.
I have a few nodes in my house (due to old plaster/metal walls) that I’ve named:

My current network name is lame, but my old one was NSA Monitoring Site.
Mine’s just the default name that Virgin Media gave to us. I can’t be bothered to change it.
Mine is Trek which is a brand of bicycles and not anything William Shatner related.
Mine is “Esperanto Rules!” …complete with exclamation mark.
