I think it would be interesting if a few people wanted to split duties for an Ask The Parent(s) thread, maybe have a self-appointed expert for each of several age and stages of development. If there’s anything more inscrutable than the oposite sex, it’s the wee folk. They confuse parents and the childless alike!
And maybe Ask The (Formerly!!) Lovelorn thread, where someone who is now happy can pass on their wisdom to the clueless masses.
Maybe if I’m filled with self-loathing and/or indifference closer to the primaries, I’ll host an Ask The Young Republican thread. But do Ask The threads normally start in the pit?

I got the masters degree, but never worked as a practicing psychologist.
Oh, sure, many of us might think we don’t care, but the first time we run across an important book with a crappy index…we would change our tune.
There is a book that is so seminal to my field, it is like a BIBLE. But I think they hired a coupla people off the streets to index it. The indexers didn’t seem to know the terminology or areas of interest in our field, and it makes me want to tear my hear out every time I go to look something up.
So if you’re any good, God bless you, and if you ever start a thread I’d probably have some questions!

I would love to see this, actually. It wouldn’t even have to be a billionaire, it could just be Ask the Filthy Rich. I want to know the practical, day-to-day activities of someone who’s got more money than they know what to do with.
HAR! Ya know, now that I think about it, nobody’s said I smelled any different since I started workin’ in a brewery. 
Actually, I work in the “production” side of the brewery, meaning we’re the ones who get the beer into those little bottles and cans and get it shipped out so’s all youse can enjoy your favorite fine Miller products. I have a feeling the questions in an Ask The Brewery Worker thread would center more around the brewing side of things which I know next to nuttin’ about. Maybe we have a doper who has experience on the “brew” side of things who could start things off with me chimin’ in on the intricacies of gettin’ beer out to the consumer.
I, too, would love to see an Ask the Peace Corps Volunteer thread, as that’s a post-graduation option I’m considering. My mother was actually a fairly early Peace Corps volunteer, but I’m certain that a lot of things have changed significantly.
i could do a Ask the Returned Peace Corps Volunteer thread. methinks there are a couple other rpcv/pcvs on the board?
or if that would not garner significant interest, i can answer questions - here? via email? (i would say “pm me,” as that seems to be pretty popular around here, but i dont know what pm-ing entails, so it probably wouldnt work.)
