What’s your go to snack from convenience store?

Munchos! I like many of the things mentioned in this thread and will eat them occasionally if they’re there. But when I get a craving for Munchos,it has to be Munchos. I don’t generally buy them in the grocery store because they’re usually only available in the large package and I really don’t need to be left alone with that. The convenience store has the “single size” (probably actually 3 servings but only last for one with my gaping maw) and when I see them I just have to have them.

Sunflower seeds and a liter of Coke.

Just want to say that I went on a nice long bike ride today… and passed a 7-11. I was SO tempted to run in and load up on some of the suggestions here.

But, no, I wasn’t on a long road trip… heck, I wasn’t even driving…so I made myself wait. Gotta plan a trip soon, though, I’m getting hungry!

Candy corn.

Chaco Taco

Hershey’s Eat-More bar, chocolate toffee goodness with peanuts! All the essential food groups in a convenient format.

I crushed an entire bag in one sitting.

They fixed everything that was wrong about Bugles. I can never buy another bag. They’re crack now.

I will not leave the convenience store without a York Peppermint Patty and a Hershey’s bar with almonds.

Beverages: Water and ice tea with sugar, not fructose syrup. Maybe a lemonade of some sort.

Salty: Cool ranch Doritos, or if we’re in the right region, Snyder’s Sourdough Pretzels. Not the flavored things, not the sticks, just the original.

I don’t think I’ve gotten anything hot from a convenience store since I was in college and had access to a Wawa.

Either beef jerky, or kippered beefsteak.
A bag of chips or pretzels.
A couple of candy bars.
A soft drink, preferably Mountain Dew.

It’s the perfect meal.
It has all four food groups: salt, sugar, grease, and caffeine.

Well, dang. :astonished: I’ll be looking for both of these.

Mrs. Dogginit says welcome to the dark side :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I did a road trip! Yes, because of this thread…

I went to pick up a receiver at the closest BestBigBox store, but they couldn’t find it. They “hadn’t updated the web site due to Covid” (yeah, likely excuse). Nice Customer Service Dude said “Well, you could pick it up in Boonieville, but that’s quite a dri…” “I’LL GO! Right now!”

Took tiny highways, stopped at a gas station in the boonies, and ended up deciding on a Diet Dr. Pepper and a giant Salted Nut Roll. Peanuts, caramel and nougat-ish white stuff. Yummmm…

Yes - Munchos! I forgot about them. I can easily eat an entire big bag of them. They are nice and salty and I’m all about salt.

Raspberry Zingers snack cakes.

My wife craves Muncho’s chips on the regular, but they’re just way too greasy for me…

My roommate in grad school considered those her comfort food. If she was having a bad night, she’d send me off to the Open Pantry (the local convenience store in Madison) for a couple of packs of “those damn red Zingers.”

Large Coffee, a sandwich and bag of cheetos. Most convenience stores have microwave sandwiches. I prefer ham and cheese. Frozen burger is my 2nd choice.

I must admit a large coffee and Hostess cherry sweet roll makes a great late night snack.

I try to grab the sandwich. But cherry sweet rolls are so tempting. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I must say that this might be the weirdest one on the list. On my personal list this would be somewhere down around doing shots of hot dog water.

7-11 has these little Italian sub sandwiches in the open refrigerated case that I like to get. They’re quite small so they’re not really a lunch, but they make a good, quick on-the-go snack that’s not chips or candy.

I throw away 1 side of the bun, and I’m good to go

Those little chocolate Donettes that come 6 to a pack. I know they’re terrible for you, and I never eat them except on road trips, but now they’ve become kind of a tradition for me.
