What should I have for dinner?

Dopers, I need inspiration. It’s kind of a yucky day, steady light rain as the remnants of Ernesto move on through. Not a good day to grill. I can’t think of anything interesting to fix for dinner. The only thing I don’t really want is Mexican, because I’ve had it three times this week.

I’m an omnivore – red meat, poultry, seafood, whatever.

Got any great recipes that are moderately no-brainer?

You’re probably really hungry right now.

How about chicken or shrimp stir-fry?

Marinate boneless breasts of chicken in Italian dressing. Grill or bake. Serve with veggies, bread, and/or rice.

Actually, I took inspiration from Kalhoun’s big honkin’ pork chops (perhaps I should rephrase that…), and fixed a pork tenderloin, baked potatoes, and a salad of roasted beets, bleu cheese, and walnuts with balsamic vinaigrette on a bed of greens. It was pretty yummy.
