Haha no worries, I know of what he speaks. They have one at Burger King in Sacramento, CA. Although every time I go in there, either the vanilla is out of order or empty or whatnot. But then they are able to make it for me on their machine in the back.
I see what you did there.
Target used to have these frozen shrimp in a garlic sauce, under their “Archer Farms” label. Cost about $3. You just had to throw the whole (paper) package in the oven for 20 minutes, then we poured it over pasta, added a salad and BAM nice little weeknight dinner.
Needless to say, after enjoying this tasty, cheap, and convenient repast a few times, the entire line up and disappeared one day in 2006, leaving us to remark upon it sadly to this day.
Jerks.
Big Biscuit Frosted Mini Wheats.
I miss them so.
The little ones are evil.
Cherry and cream cheese Bagelfuls. The line apparently got bought out by somebody else and they don’t make that flavor anymore.
Oh, you ain’t kiddin’. Those things were magic.
Black and Tan Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
Cheeseburger Doritos.
Maybe not what the OP had in mind, but there was an alternative radio station that I fell in love with that turned into an oldies station within six months.
Afternoon newspapers.
I just ran into mention of Lifebuoy soap today. Do they still make it?
Jolly Rancher lemon candies and Royal Crown Sours.
Prince Matchabelli Golden Autumn perfume and Jovan Grass Oil.
A decent cheap mascara that doesn’t run out in a couple of weeks.
Clear sugar free Kool-Aid mix. Remember the “clear” craze? Late 80’s or early '90’s? Look, I love drink mixes, but I don’t need a red mustache or stains on my countertops! Bring back the Clear!
Ken’s Sesame Ginger marinade.
They didn’t stop making it, just stopped selling it in this state/region of the country. I could still buy it online from them…a case at a time. Ummm, that is about a 5 year supply, with an expiration date of 2 years in the future. :smack:
Consorzio Baja Lime marinade
Dannon fruit-on-the-bottom banana yogurt. Haven’t seen it in 20 years or more. Damn it was good.
More recently: Yoplait banana yogurt. Not as good as the old Dannon, but next best I’ve ever tried. Of course it was discontinued after about a year on the market. Bastids!!
Eckrich Mac & Cheese Loaf. It’s been years, and I’m still bitter about it.
Another thing is Wheat Nuts. They haven’t actually stopped making them, but they’re not available here in my area, that I can find. I order them online now. By the case. It’s a good thing we really like them!
I hope you mean to then dip it all in chocolate again because, while I agree that there should be more peanut butter, pb on the outside is just absurd!
+1
Black Cows
Marathon Bar
Kirkland brand chicken pot pie. Apparently they are seasonal but they are the best freaking pot pies I’ve ever tasted and are big enough to feed a dozen people. I actually teared up a bit when the Costco guy told us they wouldn’t be back until fall.
Caramel Boost bars. No, I’m not interested Max Choc instead,
Entenmann’s Fudge-Iced, Cream-Filled Devil’s Food cupcakes
Entenmann’s Chocolate-Iced Crullers
Nestle Crunch Mocha
I’m sure there’s a host of other things that I can’t think of off-hand. I know it always seems frustrating to me that the things I like seem to constantly get discontinued.
Weston “Croc-o-chou” cookies. I don’t remember what the English name was; the French name was so amusing that everyone in my family called them that. They were a square wafer cookie, chocolate on the bottom, a layer of caramel over top, then coconut and chocolate stripes.
Haven’t seem them for years. The generic-brand (yellow package, plain helvetica lettering in lower-case only) products you can get at NoFrills have a similar cookie that is ring-shaped, but it’s just not the saaaame…
Coke has a Vanilla Coke Zero. I buy a couple of 12-packs a month. Same thing, AFAIC.
