What stuff did "They" stop making just because you like it?

Nabisco Heyday Bars

BBQ Ruffles - Lays Wavy are not the same.

And now that I have found a low calorie soda I like, I expect the demise of Dr. Pepper Ten anytime.

Actually, I think the new design is as good or better than the old one–it gets rid of that weird cup-line up top. Give the new ones a shot.

As for the actual topic–Ben & Jerry’s Apple Pie ice cream. I haven’t seen it since the late 90’s. I miss you, apple pie. :frowning:

Banana flavored Quik. Oh, the company claims to still sell it, but it’s not anywhere around here, from Albany to Boston to Montreal to NYC. I’ve checked. They sell chocolate. I HATE chocolate milk and don’t comprehend why everyone loves it so much. They sell strawberry, which is OK. And they sell strawberry-banana which is decent but does not match the delicious goodness of Banana!

Yes, but you’d be well advised to take them one of the unworn ones with the worn out one. It can be tricky to cut the right size based on a stretched out piece of elastic fabric - if they can cut a new one based on the unworn one, it will fit better.

Not sure if that was directed at me(Thelma Lou?) but unfortunately I no longer have any more of the lipstick.

Thank you for that ray of hope. I will definitely check them out. What is the style called?

See, this is why I keep you people on my staff.

I’m glad you started this thread because it prompted me track down my favorite lip gloss and buy six tubes of it.

Wet N Wild changed their Mocha Glaze color to something I can’t live with anymore, and everything I’ve tried since has been a miserable disappointment. I know, I know, Wet N Wild is the crappiest make up brand there is made for little girls who want to play around with lipstick and glitter, but this particular gloss was perfect. It was semi-sheer, subtle, and a color complemented my skin tone perfectly. I even wore it to my wedding. Here I was with my professionally applied make up, hair style that cost too much money, $300 shoes, and Wet N Wild lip gloss. Finding it online for $1.50 a pop made my year.

Honey nut shredded wheat (although they still carry it in upstate New York)

Doritos 3-Ds

Crispy M&Ms

Probably for the best that they stopped making that stuff, because everything on that list is shockingly unhealthy.

Oh, also NYC lip gloss that came in a pot. And that’s not unhealthy, either.

I don’t know what it’s called, per se–I get all my Cacique stuff at Lane Bryant, and it’s the only strapless they sell.

Also, I think they discontinued Man-O-Mango Kool-Aid, which tasted terrible but seemed to have more caffeine than anything I make at home should be allowed to have.

She mentioned makeup woes in the OP. I think they’re pretty universal for anyone who ever finds a perfect makeup shade. :frowning:

Hey that sounds really good, I should try it next time I’m in the US…looks at thread title again…aw damnit.

Lancome “Hydrative” moisturizer.

Highliner salmon filets in BBQ flavour.

Uncle Ben’s single-serving Boil-in-the-Bag rice.

Mucho Burrito recently changed their menu items. I looked forward to their vegetarian nachos every week but last week when I went to get them they had been changed…to ABSOLUTE CRAP. No veggies, no beans, no sauce, no cilantro - just chips, cheese & salsa - for $2 more! I wrote an angry e-mail, posted on their Facebook page AND phoned the store manager to complain. They actually replied to my e-mail the following morning and thanked me for my feedback. Hopefully a good number of other customers complained too and they’ll change it back.

Wet-n-Wild also made my favorite lip stuff. Long wear on one side, gloss on the other. Just the right shade and it didn’t change on me. As a redhead, lipstick is an especially tricky territory and a lot of stuff looks a completely different color on. I knew I should have bought extra but I never did. One day it was just gone, replaced by something horrid and maroony. I almost did a happy dance when I packed to move last week and found TWO tubes in old purses! Hooray me for never cleaning out a purse!

Yay! I’m happy for you. I love purse finds.

BBQ Fritos.

Sugar Daddys, the original size.

Jane oil-free concealer. It was the same color as me, a tiny bit went a long way, and sometimes I think it even improved my skin. And they sold it at WalMart for like three bucks! Fortunately, I bought a couple tubes that will still last me a long time, but I see they’ve got a new formula, new package, new price ($8!) and it’s not sold in my area anymore. Someday I’ll have to break down and pay eight bucks plus shipping to find out how bad it sucks now.

No kidding! I’m going to check out the Wet 'n Wild counter next time I go to the store. I don’t see how a $20 lipstick can be 10X better than a $2 lipstick. The Rimmel Vinyl Lip Gloss I like was also really inexpensive. I have a couple sealed and stockpiled.

CoverGirl also had a lip gloss that I loved. One day I went to buy it, and though the tube was the same color and even the NAME was the same, the product was completely different! Grrr.

They still sell BBQ Fritos out here in the wilderness of Eastern Tennessee.

Of course, you can also find Nehi brand soft drinks here and the old large moon pies.

(I am not being paid to write this by the Smoky Mountain Tourist Board, and if I were then I would disavow any knowledge of doing so.)

I still remember one time, 20 years ago, when They cruelly taunted me with iced tea-flavored Gatorade. I’m prone to heat exhaustion and need to be really conscientious about keeping up my fluid intake, but I never like fruity-flavor anything, including your Gatorade/PowerAde/etc. sports drinks. And then, one morning, when buying drinks for the cooler ahead of a day spent working outside in the Texas heat… iced tea flavor! There it was, a godsend in the convenience store cooler. At last, a Gatorade flavor I’d look forward to drinking.

And They only let me buy it once. Then They took it away. I’m still angry at Them about it, all these years later.

Tampico brand Peach drink. Tasted just like biting into a fresh peach. I can’t find it anywhere and haven’t seen it since I moved to NY from LA back in 2006.

Coca-Cola Blak. Coke mixed with coffee flavor. Sounds gross but it tasted great. To me, anyway.

That. Sounds. Amazing.
