An update on Ron Jeremy; he’s been charged with multiple sexual assaults and has been working his way through the court system.

I saw some news footage from when he was arrested. He was living in an upscale apartment building - in Las Vegas, IIRC - and had very little furniture and the apartment was knee-deep in garbage.

the problem is since screw magazine publisher al Goldstein passed on he can’t bail out a lot his “slime crew” of 3rd rate porn models adult film people and such … apparently he’d been bailing out Jeremy and others for years by providing hush money and support and the like
He was also an extra in Ghostbusters.
Don’t doubt it in the 1990’s - Goldstein was a bit of as misogynist sleazeball, if granted a free-speech icon of sorts like other early pornographers (Larry Flynt et al.). But not for quite a few years I would imagine. He was basically dead broke and intermittently homeless after 2004.
