A few years ago a friend of mine gave me two fairly large boxes of VHS porn. With porn being so prevalent on the 'net, I haven’t found a need to crack open the boxes. I can’t exactly sell them at the garage sale and donating them to the Goodwill would be in poor taste.
Any ideas?

Oddly there are collectors who eschew digital copies and want the original VHS movies for rare out of production stuff. Try eBay to see pricing.
Any Andrew Blake among them? Are you allowed to ship them across state lines? I’ll give you my address!

How big of a box are we talking about? Are there any Andrew Blake among them? I wouldn’t want to deny you making some money on them, but I wouldn’t mind any Blake titles you might have.

As noted above, there are a number of collectors who are looking for vintage porn. This isn’t quite as cool as if you’d been handed boxes of old Super 8 porn reels (which could bring in a small fortune if parceled out properly on eBay), but there is a large subgroup of folks who capture/digitize older Beta and VHS porn that is not available on DVD, who are often willing to pay decent money for individual titles. Smaller studios, early releases, amateur/pro-am releases, hard-to-find niches, and softcore (believe it or not!) can fetch decent money. I know a few folks in the girl/girl scene who would pay a few hundred dollars for clean VHS (or better) versions of certain amateur and pro-am releases.
Make sure you write Canada on the box, so if someone finds it at your house, it’ll look like you’re holding it for Canada.
Just be very careful. There may be Traci Lords titles lurking in the box - double-check against her IMDB list to make sure you don’t unwittingly own “child pornography”.
