I have an unusual question today. I have a good friend who is unfortunately severely disabled due to a motorcycle accident. I was visiting him a few days ago and he asked me if I could provide him with some porn videos. I certainly understand his desire to view this material and he really had no other way to access it. He doesn’t have a computer or internet access.
It had been many years since I’ve actually viewed porn on anything but a computer monitor. I am well aware that you can still buy porn DVD’s. A quick search online pulled up many sites offering them, but I found their cost high, roughly $20 per DVD. I would like to help my friend out here and would like to provide him the most bang (sorry) for his buck. Anyone know of a reputable site that perhaps sells discounted or even previously viewed porn?
And before I get slammed for not just using google, I’m hoping to get a recommendation from here so I don’t end up purchasing from a scam company. Thanks.
There are a couple of standard purveyors of disc smut out there. I’ve ordered things from them for archival and research purposes - really - and they tend to have the catalogs of a dozen or more production houses on tap. Many of the titles are burned on demand but I’ve had no problems with disc quality.
Ebay is the most secure and private source. It’s hidden under the Everything Else Category
Adult Only is the first category under Everything Else. I’ve *heard *there’s a disclaimer screen acknowledging you’re over 18 and not offended by the content.
There’s an outfit called CD Universe. You go to their website and they have a section called the bargain bin where there are cheap dvd’s. You can even sort them starting with the lowest prices, which is currently $4.14 for Gang Bang #1 (which I presume tells the origin story).
Adultdvdempire.com has a used section, and they’ve been around for a while (since I was a teenager, at least). They also do a porn DVD rental service (think Netflix for porn), but your friend would need a computer to manage his queue unless you’re willing to do it for him.
Amazon also has a large selection of pre-owned foreign DVDs, and many European movies have levels of nudity and sex that the American film industry would consider pornographic. They’re typically less “just sex” and more story-based than cheap American porno, which may be a plus or negative depending on your friend’s tastes. You can find these movies by Googling for “netflix porn” or browsing mrskin.com and celebritymoviearchive.com.
Lastly, your neighborhood corner mart probably has a selection of porn magazines, many of which come with bonus DVDs – they’re quite desperate to compete with the free online stuff.
But yeah, the better stuff is usually online. How about subscribing to a site with DRM-free content for a month, downloading some of their better stuff, and burning a disc for him like Rhythmdvl suggested? I’m sure you can find suggestions here or elsewhere.
And while he’s cleaning up, I’ll mention I got a great deal on a huge box of smut at a yard/garage sale. The box was duct taped shut and the recent widow didn’t want it opened on her property. She had it marked $500, but I offered twenty and she accepted. Her late husband liked barely-legal, anal, and gargantuan breasts.
The following winter I gave most of them away, one by one, to naughty folks via SantaCon.
